I'm having Chin GENIOPLASTY next week and as I'm in England it is costing me nothing - funded by 21% sales tax on everything and diesel at $9.

Don't worry Rose.

Once the New Year celebrations are over and people recover their heads, I'm sure some will offer you helpful advice.

Take care.

For the most accurate numbers, you should ask whatever surgeon you are considering.

However, as a point of reference, Dr. O (probably the most expensive out there) quoted me about $11k for chin (genioplasty) and jaw together when I had a short consult at Southern Comfort back in Sept.  My friend was quoted around $7k for chin and jaw by Dr. Spiegel last summer, and I'm not sure whether that is genioplasty or not.  Price will vary based on what you need done obviously... I think genioplasty is the most invasive chin procedure, so it will cost more than others.

Well its not that i need a major work done. i just need my chin rounded  off or made a little narror OR should i just say femenine? Yes much better. I dont need my jaw done. Just chin. Any ideas? Or anything???

chin work is not simple as there is a big nerve runs all round that makes cutting bone a real problem as a slip of the scalpel or saw will cut the nerve and the person then becomes a dribbling mess for rest of life.

there isn't such a thing as a little shave due to the shape and thickness of the bone at the front and that nerve runs outside the bone and the very experienced surgeon I am going to stressed that taking a bit off the front may make the frontsides look wrong and needing further work.

call a few surgeon's offices and ask for prices is the quickest way to find out.
