I'm actually wondering if this applies to more than just one type of drug, but have you noticed any interactions of medications having a greater effect than usual?

Since starting HRT, I wake a lot more during the night and have difficulty falling back asleep. This effect is similar to when I'd take my Aderall XR past midday and try to sleep at a normal time. Obviously I should talk with my doc about lowering my dosage for Aderall, but has anyone else noticed increased drug interactions?

You may wish to talk to your pharmacist/chemist about drug interactions also.

There could be a number of things in play here.  People do, in some cases, "outgrow" ADHD or otherwise see a reduction in their symptoms; so one drug regimen could have nothing to do with the other.  I have heard of cases where the psychological symptoms of GID mimic ADHD, once HRT is started the symptoms resolve themselves.

Talk to both doctors about your concerns, I don't think its a drug interaction but a lessening of symptoms.
Our biograhies are our own and we need to accept our own diversity without being ashamed that we're somehow not trans enough.

I take Ritalin and have taken Adderall XR too.  My doc said it would NOT hinder my HRT. But, I still think you should ask your own Doc in the end.
