It's not a bad thing though.

She's calling me "Xander" because I mentioned that my mom thought I was going to be born a boy (biologically) and that she was going to name me Alexander. So my friend started calling me Xander. Lol.

I didn't say that she was calling me by the wrong name, since I've told her that my guy name is Devyn. I figured she just forgot or something.

But hey. Xander is better than my girl name.

Anyway, I think it's kind of cute how cool she is with it. My other friends are just kind of like, 'Oh. Alright." Instead, she actually tries to remember to call me by the right pronouns, will apologize if she slips up, and will correct anybody who calls me "she" or "her".

Her sister, who I'm friends with, still blatantly REFUSES to call me by male pronouns though and says that I'm not a boy. I sort of cussed her out because I didn't know what to do.

I don't think I've ever been so cool with being called the wrong name. Lol.

Then again, I experimented with different names before actually picking my name, so I'm so used to having multiple names.

It must be, although it's no where near my name. Lol.

Definitely. I don't know what I would do without at least one person supporting me.

Xander? Like Xander from Drawn Together? xD I can relate to the whole name and pronoun thing :'P. Most of my friends that know will see me as a guy and refer to me as one. I have one though who still sees me as female. I think it might be a cultural thing though, he's from India :'P. I forgive him, and I'm giving him time to adjust. He did have a crush on me for a while so I think this is still hard for him to suddenly see me as a guy.

My boyfriend's best female friend seems to still think I'm faking it to mess with her or something. Why would I do that just to mess with her!? I think she still just has a lot of animosity towards me. She's his ex and he broke up with her and got together with me like 4 hours later XP. We were 18 and stupid! D:< It's been 2 1/2 years and she's with someone else, so I'm lost there. I just find it insulting she would think this is me trying to screw with her. I tell her something that in my particular situation can still get me killed because of who I'm related to, and she doesn't believe me. Not just that, instead of asking me straight-up if I'm being serious she goes behind my back and asks my boyfriend if I'm lying or not. We're adults, I thought we were beyond this ->-bleeped-<-! Things like this made me so glad I'm gay @_@.

EDIT: I forgot to add that I get most of this from women. They seem to in general be less accepting of me than men. That confuses the hell out of me. I thought women were generally more empathetic.

Yes. XD Guys who have/had crushes on you are pretty bad. I know a few guys who had crushes on me when I was trying to be a girl, so I have a feeling that it has to be at least a little awkward, right? Lol.

Damn. o.o I don't even know what exactly to say to that.

Aw, I'm straight (mostly), so I think I get more crap from girls because if I try to flirt with them, they're all, "BUT YOU'RE A GIRL." -facepalm-
