I was really just curious to see how you guys prefer to take your T. I've always assumed sustanon was the most common option, but I've met a fair amount of guys who've been using Andro/Testogel, so I'm interested to know whether we have any pellet or tablet users amongst us.

Forgive me if I've missed out any glaringly obvious options — I'm not too familiar with the brand names of most of these products, the only ones I know of being Testogel, Nebido and Sustanon. I've named specific brand names as and where I know them, but I'm afraid I'm not at all familiar with transdermal or oral testosterone forms. If anyone would like to educate me, please feel free! :)

I could have labeled both Nebido and Sustanon under one "injectable" label, but I must admit that I'm curious as to how many people actually use Nebido as opposed to Sustanon, and why that might be. I picked Nebido myself, mostly due to the less frequent injections (I'm terrified of doctors!) but I must admit the slightly more stable mood levels due to the gradual release of T were also appealing. I'm surprised at how little my moods have actually changed so far; I don't feel myself any more aggressive or less emotional than usual, but it's still early days yet, so I guess we'll see how that pans out! I've had two shots so far with my next one due in the middle of February, so it's all exciting stuff. :]

How about you guys? Care to share your own experiences and thoughts? If any of you guys have used more than one type of T, it'd be interesting to know how they differed for you. For those of you not on testosterone yet, which form would you most prefer to take and why?

Nathan.

I'm on Sustanon at the moment but eventually I want to be on Nebido simply for the less frequent injections, right now i'm staying with Sustanon because I like how fast the changes are coming.

I picked other because Testosterone Cypionate (injections) wasn't on the list. That's what I am on because I don't think Sustanton is available in the US.

Carson

I'm on Injectable Testosterone Cypionate. I was on Testim (Gel) for a month.

D'oh! Sorry about that, I just added that option to the poll. :] you should be able to change your vote. For some reason I assumed sustanon was available in the US! I'm dumb :D

D'oh! Sorry about that, I should really add an "injectable — other" choice, or just add testosterone cypionate. Sorry about that, I'll see if I can edit it :D

In the States, peopl inject either Testosterone cypionate or Testosterone enanthate.

Very similar esters. I see you added cypionate, but you should really have that choice as cypionate OR enanthate.

Ah, that's a very good suggestion, I'll update it now. Pardon my ignorance! I should have done my research :D

I started off on Sustanon for the first 8 or so months, but had to switch to Nebido since I was working abroad for 10 weeks (so obviously couldnt continue my regular sustanon shots) and have just stuck with Nebido since. I must admit, I do prefer only having to get my shots every 12 weeks. Its thicker and takes longer to inject, but I find that it is less uncomfortable than having sustanon injected.

probably depo which is the equivalent of your cypron. We on;y have two options here in Canada for injectables.

Shadowlyc

Injectable — testosterone cypionate or enanthate was my choice.
  •

DRAIN

cypionate. if only sustanon/nebido was available here

Cypionate, subcutaneous injections.

I recommend the delivery method. It's pretty easy and the needles are rather small. My levels don't fluctuate enough that I really notice it- I self inject once a week. Never had an aggression problem on T (but I didn't really seem to before either) or anything else.

I will most likely gladly accept whatever the healthcare proffessionals give me. It seems that they mostly tend to give people Nebido, so I guess that's what I'll get.

Y'know, if the doctor says I'm really transsexual, and not just insane.

If the doctor disagrees, I'm screwed.

I was offered the two generic options of "gel" or "injection"

I said Injection.  Something about the gel weirds me.

I believe I get Testosterone cypionate.  I inject it subcutaneously.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I'm on Nebido, once every 3 months. I am really happy with it, no problems at all, last shot didn't hurt either. May be I just have a really good nurse at my doctor's.   ;D

Hahaha, lucky! My shots are always pretty painful — not agonizing or anything, but my bum really doesn't like having a large needle stuck in it for an extended period of time :[ I get a bit of an achey-soreness for a few days afterwards which makes me walk like I've soiled myself!

Sorry to hear that dude. Do you stand or lie down for your shot? I find that I can relax better standing up. If I am getting the shot on my left side, I will stand and put all my weight on my right leg. Point my left foot forwards slightly, making sure the muscles are completely relaxed on my bum. That seems to do the trick.
