So, last post i made, i talked about how utterly miserable I am.... Within the span of 24 hours that changed drastically!! I am now happier than I have ever been and this is why...

January 9, i overdosed on pills, almost died, and had my stomach pumped... I got sent to a rehab/psych unit and was prescribed a new medication for my depression. Turns out, the new meds cause drastic breast growth!!! Overnight I have gotten noticable breast tissue!!!

It isn't much yet, but I take the medicine daily and hopefully my boobs keep growing!!!

Im so thanking god that he made a miracle out of something sooo bad... Im the happiest ive ever been!! I'm making sure to watch for other side effects of the meds but so far nothing bad... Im aware that the breast growth could be part of an underlying problem so Im watching for that too but so far so good!!

This made me laugh.  "Life was sucking, but my boobs are getting bigger!"  I'm glad things are working out well for you.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I'm glad things are looking up and that you are still with us. Keep this in mind when you are feeling down, as long as you are alive things can only ever get better no matter how bad they seem.

Well, it's great to hear that you have something making you very happy, but I'm sad to hear that you had to get that low before it happened.

Everyone here is going to be asking what the magic boob pills are now! Tell me too!

The medicine is called Risperdal... Turns out it isn't fun AT ALL!!! I'm still happier than I usually am, but the meds are f***ing with my head...

In first block at school, I forgot what class I was in... Not just a little forgetful, but full on, had no idea where I was.

Hmm I had some medication that had similar side effects and it can be pretty distressing! I would be halfway through a conversation and then forget what I was saying, what they were saying, everything!! Fortunately I was only taking these for a week as I couldn't imagine trying to live with SE like that. If it continues, go back to your doc and ask for something else.

I go to the doctor tommorrow so I'll talk to em... I'm under a court order to take whatever meds the doctor prescribes, or they could put me back in the psych ward at the hospital.

how does that do that i wonder? it makes your breasts grow faster than estrogen?

Not only did the growth stop very early, so I pretty much have no boobs, but the side effects are hell on earth!!

Went to the doctor and asked to be given different meds... They told me i was blowing it out of proportion and overreacting!! Needless to say, im still on risperdal and it's still f***ing with my head, more than ever!!

When I'm sitting still, it feels like the chair moves forward!! When i look at stuff, it begins to swirl and shift!! My movement is slow and dizzy, i get very cold or hot easily, im incredibly loopy around noon, overall the meds SUCK!!!

You must be careful to drink plenty of water with those. Also, I understand that people on that med can become sensitive to heat and cold.

As for the unplesent symptoms, these are documented. They can often pass with time though.

Yeah I drink alot more lately... I've horribly thirsty!!

The side effects should go away soon... Hopefully... Scary thing is, I'm on the LOWEST dose they can give me!! I'm only on a little of the risperdal, and only 25 mg of Luvox which I take only half of in the morning and half at night!! I hope to god they dont increase the doseage on either of these meds, cuz if I get these kind of side effects on a low dose, imagine it on a larger dose!!
