I like gourmand type sweet scents (not too sweet though). Some might consider them to be a bit feminine though.
like Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin:
Top Notes:
Green Ivy, Aniseed, Absinthe, Rum
Middle Notes:
Aniseed, Praline, Violet
Base Notes:
Cedarwood, Vanilla, Rock Rose, Barley Water
and I really like Rochas Man:
Top Notes:
Lavender, Green Leaves, Bergamot
Middle Notes:
Sensual and Lush
Base Notes:
Amber, Mocha, Vanilla
Dirty English is good too. It has a woodsy/leathery smell. It's very masculine and is comparable to Gucci Pour Homme.
La Nuit de L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent and the original is good too.
I can't stand Aqua Di Gio and Coolwater though. I really dislike those type of scents.
Your best bet is to hit up Sephora and try some scents there. Don't go by the initial scent since it will change over time and with your body chemistry. Spray some on your wrist and walk around for 30 min then decide.
