Gender Therapists in my area?

I live in Eastern PA right now, but I don't want to go to a gender therapist just yet seeing as I'm still (mostly) closeted. I DO plan on going to a gender therapist, doing the RLE, and trying for T the instant I start college, though.

I really want to go to York University (in Toronto) for college. Does anyone live around Toronto and/or know some specialists in the area who could help me out? Please and thank you in advance!

Eep, that's a short list! I'll definitely have to check out the Central Toronto Youth Services and Sherbourne Health Centre right away. Thank you very much, Robyn! ^-^

Not to be nosey, but whereabouts in eastern PA are you? There are quite a few in the Philadelphia/outer suburban Philly area. My SO is seeing a gender therapist in Malvern, PA but she also works in Lititz, PA.

There is also this site that gives you a list of therapists who work with GID patients by state: http://www.drbecky.com/therapists.html

Hope that is at least a little helpful.

Anywho, welcome Gregg!

I'm actually really close to Malvern. By chance, would the SO you're speaking of go to Dr. Lake? I've heard good things about her. Sadly, I'm not sure my dad would be too keen on the idea of taking me to see anyone in the near future. *sigh*

Thanks for the help!

Yep. She is pretty awesome. She has a sliding scale fee (as most therapists do). She is in Malvern on Friday's only though.
