Hey-

I'm currently lacking a name (maybe y'all have suggestions), but I'll tell you what I can about myself-

- pre- medical shenanigans FTM, age 19
- living in the Deep South of the USA
- Currently deciding between fully transitioning and fully living my somewhat obscure religion as mandated by God, I'm sure some of y'all have been here.

This looks like a really great community, and I figured I'd stop lurking and introduce myself.

Don't have any suggestions for names, but I can say that I am transitioning, but not giving up God. Until recently, I lived in a very conservative suburb in Houston and my pastor and several church members, while not exactly jumping for joy, continued to love and support me. Of course, that was a Methodist church and I don't know what group you are a part of so YMMV.
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

Welcome to the site man  :icon_wave:

Nice to meet ya. I'd try to help but I've been through 4 different names in the past year before settling on this one. Man I'm not a very religious guy. I believe in God and pray to who is in my mind a being above gender but I don't seem to recall the bible saying anything about what God mandates when it comes to trans people. In fact there is a church down the street from me that has trans/gay/and more people who still believe in God. In  my opinion the God I love loves my soul and does not care about me being trans. In fact I think I was made this way to learn something. I'm proud of the person I've become through my struggles.

Sorry I feel very strongly about all of this. See ya around the forum

Hi Handrew, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hummmmmmm.  Deep South?  How about Bubba, Roy Bob, Billy Ray?  No.  Maybe Andrew?  Just kidding about the southern names.
Hugs and Love,
Janet
