I am ready to start T at anytime, but getting there may be difficult. I looked up Sherbourne clinic in T.O, but not only is there a huge wait-list, but they can't take me, because I'm not from the area. (total let-down) I was told that I could to do it all through my MD. However, he is a conservative fellow. I've had issues with him in the past and I highly doubt he will agree to helping me out (I booked an appointment with him just to see, in case...)

What doctors/gender therapists did you get your perscriptions through?

If you could provide me with numbers/emails that would be much appreciated, too.

Thanks so much, Seth.

Whereabouts in Ontario are you? That might help in suggesting a doc. I'm not on T yet but I've been referred to an endo and I'll see him end of March. My family doc referred me to an endo. Maybe your doc would agree to refer you to one, if he won't do the T himself?

Also, the Sherbourne Clinic has a website that has a protocol guide for trans patients that other doctors can use if they're inexperienced in treating trans patients. It's here: http://www.sherbourne.on.ca/PDFs/Trans-Protocols.pdf

I've got the guidelines and protocols printed off for him. I'm not sure that he will even refer me.

I'm living in London, ON right now for school and my home is in Brantford, ON.

I'm from London, ON. I got a referal for Dr. James Martin. He is awesome and everyone I know who went through him said nothing but good things about him. Although it's a fertility clinic, they do a lot of hormone therapy there. I got in a month after the referal.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

I don't live in London anymore and I still go see him for refills and check-ups. You don't have to be from London I'm pretty sure. I just went to my regular family doctor for the referal.
