What size bed do you have?

Ive noticed a lot of guys(bio) have twins or futons.

Age range teen to young adult/college student.

For the longest time I had a queensize mattress, but it took up too much space and it was a bugger to clean when my dog shed, so recently I switched to a twinsize (give or take) couchbed thing (it doesn't fold out, just flattens). It's easier to maintain and takes up half the space of my old bed - in a word, practical.

And I'm eighteen, so, yeah :3

Same. Except I have to share it with a 6'4", 189 lb unmoving mass. I usually just push and nest in all of my pillows. Hahaha

I don't want to derail the thread or anything, but I think this is a good a place as any to ask, especially in light of the last two posts - what is up with women and pillow hoarding? xD I've never been able to get a straight answer.

And two women in it! - the number of pillows involved would simply blow any man's mind! I even have a special body pillow which I can wrap my legs around to stop my hips aching.

I have one of those too, you just can't argue with these achy nearly 21 year old bones. They are something awful.

Psh, even my dog tries to steal the pillows sometimes. Fortunately, unlike a girlfriend, I can pull what I need out from under her head. The blanket tends to be trickier...

Seems I'm really pretty normal here. Before attempting to move I had a twin -- the frame's currently in the closet. Now I have my futonbed (full-size). Not sure as other people would see it as an upgrade, but I love it: more room and very comfortable in my opinion (granted it has an egg crate under the mattress).

I think that really is a girl thing. Being ?? fortunate enough ?? to have slightly broader hips than many transitioners I can fully appreciate the extra strain caused when lying on one side.

Yeah. It's really a... blessing. When my sister got pregnant they had to upgrade to a bigger bed because she moved around so much at night. She couldn't lay on her sides because her bones were softer during the pregnancy. :/

I have a large bed, I don't know the correct word for its size. However, I've managed to convert this two-person bed into a 3/4-person bed by simply stocking books up there. I really should clean it out, you know, but it's easier to lug stuff up there than to carry it down from it. It's a loft bed. I'm always embarrassed by it yet I have trouble removing the books.

Standard double bed. Luckily my wife is tiny, so I get plenty of room unless our enormous ginger cat insists on sleeping next to me. Basic law of physics: Cats expand to fit the area available.

I have a normal sized futon, but not the sofa kind... it's the actual traditional futon that you can roll up for storage when not using.
I've found myself unable to sleep in a mattress with base or without base, I just can sleep pacefully if I have my futon right in the floor. Even in the damp winter. I guess I'm more of a traditional man...b'cause I'm the same with the pillows too.

You don't have my option up there. I have no bed. No futon either. I sleep on a camp cot or on the floor in a nest of blankets which I just throw on a chair when I get up.

Anyway!
I sleep on a queen sized bed with hubby.

I have a full but I could sleep on a twin its just what I happened to get at the mattress store. I used to have a futon and I liked that better.

I have a queen.  My parents got it for me when I moved into my apartment.  And I somehow take up the whole bed to myself, which means I'll have to get at least two queens to push together if I was ever with someone.

My dog also somehow takes up most of the bed at times so I find myself sleeping in small parts or in awkward positions to accommodate the 16 lb mutt.
