What is the size of your bed?

Twin
Full
Queen
King
Futon-twin
Futon-full
Futon-queen
Other/No bed

Cameron James

In high school I had a futon (which everyone tells me is lumpy, but I think it's the comfiest thing ever). When I lived in the dorms at my Uni, a long twin, and now that I've got my own apartment, my gf and I have a queen.

I've always had king size until the past year. Now I have a full. I wish I had room for a queen, but I would have to give up some books and completely rearrange my very small bedroom.

Queen for now because my ex complained about sleeping on a futon. Getting a new futon when I can afford it. Smaller and more efficient.

Full bed that I got from my ex when we split up.  When we were still together in the dorms we would share twin beds...not exactly comfortable.  I also found out I have a habit of spreading out when I sleep.  Oops. =/

You don't have my option up there. I have no bed. No futon either. I sleep on a camp cot or on the floor in a nest of blankets which I just throw on a chair when I get up.

We need an option for other!  I don't have a bed either, I sleep on my couch.

I put twin because that is what sleep on most of the time since I don't go back home very often from my university. I currently live in the dorms and it's actually an extra long twin.

Other than that I sleep on a queen futon mattress on the floor when I go home to my parent's house.

I'm pretty sure it's a full not a queen. I rather have a king.

well i had a really nice queen for a while my mom handed down to me years ago. But for space reasons, ive been using one of those futon couch/beds now, which doesnt bother me, it's nice. but i still have the queen down in the garage for when i ever move =)

I have a hand me down queen size, ive had it for a few years now. I used to share it with someone, but now I have it all to myself. Before that I had a futon bunk bed, and before that I had a loft bunk bed.
I kinda want something bigger like a California King though haha. Sometimes I feel like the Queen is too small for me(and im a very small guy) lol. But im thinking of just going with a futon, for space reasons. Plus its a cool couch AND bed.

Is a twin the same as a UK single size?

Oh, I just checked wikipedia. It is.

My mate and I have a pair of twins squished up together, we moved and had to leave behind our california king. When we move again we'll have a queen XD

I had a twin from age 12 to 18, then I moved to a double. Since I moved out of my dad's place in October I've been working with a twin and a girlfriend. the two really don't mix well. Even the couch is comfier...

I have a double, but I suspect it's a queen.  Doesn't matter anyway, because I sleep right at the edge with my feet hanging over and barely move. The rest of the bed is storage when I'm single.

You don't have my bed size listed: California King

For the longest time I had a full size futon. Then my back started hurting more so I got an actual mattress (queen size) but then that mattress didn't help and then I found out about all the crazy chemicals that go into a mattress and I thought, wait if I'm all into natural health now and I sleep on a bed of chemicals on average of 8 hours a day that's kinda whack (around about the same time I also found out that like a 5 year old mattress can have something like 50 pounds of dust mite ->-bleeped-<- in it). So I splurged on this 100% organic, natural latex mattress with a 3" topper of the same material (dust mites can't live in the natural latex btw so if you're prone to allergies or just don't want to sleep on heaps of old dust mite ->-bleeped-<- and can afford it, go with the natural latex). I tell you, it's like sleeping on a magical marshmallow. I'd never give that thing up!! And amazingly, the very first night on it I had ZERO back pain in the morning. Worth every outrageous penny I paid for it.

I do have to share it with a snoring walrus though. Oh. Did I say walrus? I mean my lovable other half.

I need this, I'm allergic to furniture stuffing. Didn't know it existed.

I definitely understand the need for lots of pillows.  Nothing is better than curling up into a poofy nest to sleep.
