I especially like dark chocolate with milk - take a bite, take a sip, chew the chocolate with the milk still in your mouth, and you get something much, much tastier than normal milk chocolate. I don't know whether or not other people have cottoned on to this magnificent discovery of mine yet, but I'm sure they will.

Me too! I thought I was the only one. It's especially good with extra creamy milk (is that what you call 2% in North America?).

I've always preferred vanilla over chocolate. I do like peanut M&Ms, Reeces, and Snickers. I like white chocolate more than milk or dark. White chocolate covered pretzels, those round Lindt  truffles.

Actually the opposite happened to me to completely turn the gender sterotype on it's head I was worried if I would crave it more before I had a massive sweet tooth as a male. I could buy a whole bar and I'd eat that throughout a day and eat nothing else. (thus I wouldn't gain weight) I'd never do that now.

Chocolate it's okay but it dosen't taste anywhere near as good as it used to. It really noticed it when a friend tempted me into eating a chocolate eclair and I just sighed it tasted so much better in my memory.

Despite sweetness dropping off I currently now really love savory spicy and sour food now oh god lemons are lush I could totally dig lemons!

Thus instead of chocolate now I'm more prone to eating gelatine sweets or sour gelatine sweets if I'm treating myself.

I have always lived chocolate,  especially dark.  When I lived in Seattle in the early 90's I discovered chocolate covered espresso beans which I could easily OD on. My favorite chocolate memory is of an espreesso float at a little coffee house by University of Washington.  It had a shot of hot espresso in the bottom with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, peanuts and whipped cream on top. It was heaven.....   :-)

My first exposure to those chocolate covered coffee beans ...yeah I had no clue you could OD on them....I ate an entire bag in 30 minutes.
My boss sent me home about an hour into it.

Now I only eat a few of them at a sitting.

There is really no contest...

Chocolate of course - what on earth else did you think I was going to choose!

Let's face it.  You can have good chocolate a lot more often than you can have, or even find, a good man!  :D

There are a number of studies that have shown the euphoric affects that accompany chocolate.

Anecdotally, I have found that since I started HRT, I am much more attracted to dark chocolate than milk chocolate.  The 30%+ and better type.  The really hard stuff.  There is a chocolatier in the old neighborhood I used to live in that make their own chocolate.  Just going in there can give me a buzz from the aroma!

Ooohhh, now I jonesing...  Where did I leave that last bar of Lindt...

I can't remember the last time I had ice cream. My favorite flavor is butter almond.

Meh. I like chocolate, sure, sometimes, but I've never really craved it, can only take so much. I usually prefer fruit flavoured sweets, caramels, or licorice (but oh god please never ever Finnish licorice ever again...shudder. And nothing sweetened with xylitol.)

I've actually been eating a bit more chocolate lately, though, Been slowly working on a Milky Way all day. And I had a Dove bar last week. I used to really like German chocolates. Don't get the obsession with them though. Given the choice of steak or chocolate, I'll always take the steak. Red meat...now that's a drug.

I'm a  failed chocoholics goer. BTW no such thing as white chocolate.

Chocolate is brown, darker the better.

I have mad chocolate cravings now and then, so bad that I dig through my room, looking for a couple bucks, go to the mini-mart and raid the shelves. I usually end up coming home with a bag of gummiworms. lol.

I haven't started hormones so I may reconsider this question once I'm on T. I wouldn't mind losing my interest in chocolate though. It's kind of slowing me down from getting that nice beach body.

I've always loved chocolate but now I get the occasional craving; I must eat chocolate now! It seems to take less to satisfy me now.

I do like milk chocolate but none of the typical American stuff. A friend who went to Salzburg introduced me to Milka. Hard to find in the US but really good.

For the darker stuff it has to be Moonstruck. They are out of Oregon and hard to stay away from when I drive by their stores.

Never been a fan of chocolate, I've always prefered the salty, savoury snacks to the sweet ones.

I'd take gummy candies or fruit flavored stuff over chocolate any day but since starting T I have noticed I'm craving beef jerky way more than any other type of snack food.

Yakshini

I like chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, etc. but I find that I have a low tolerance for real chocolate.
