Hi, I hope you can answer this question for my partner and myself. She is transitioning ftm (still using the female pronoun for now), and has been on T for about 9 days. She starting to feel some changes in the clit zone. Now this is rather direct, but can you answer this question for us: isn't it uncomfortable to have one's clit poking out all the time, rubbing against fabric, given sensitivity? What do people do about this? Does it get better over time, but then does it lose sensation, or does all that change again when arouses, as in a glans (same cells I guess)? She doesn't know, and neither do I, so any info would be a big help. Thanks! Helios

Yes things can be uncomfortable when it starts to grow down there. I've found certain kinds of underwear VERY uncomfortable and ended up having to switch to a new brand. As time goes on it does get use to certain sensations though and shouldn't chafe as much.

I've heard that arousal, orgasm, sensation changes a lot on T but I'm certainly not an expert on the subject. I'm sure some other guys here can fill ya in.

I'm only about a month on T and I've definitely had growth but it doesn't bug me. If it's really sensitive in the morning I've been going with boxers instead of briefs because they are a little looser and don't rub as much but other than that... no problems with over sensitivity.

I had a pain/over stimulated feeling constantly for the first 2-3 weeks.  I tried not to wear jeans or anything with a large/tough seam down the crotch. I usually wore boxers or boxer briefs. It has gotten better. I think the sensitivity is part of growth and the largest amount of growth is towards the beginning of starting T. It doesn't lose sensation...or at least I don't feel as if it does. I just think that erections are still very sensitive and while flaccid it's sort of a normal feeling. It might be different for me compared to most other guys. I'm chubby so down thar is kinda chubby and I guess my fat sort of protects my dick.

When you guys talk about your dick being sensitive do you mean sensitive to arousal or sensitive meaning hurting?

When I said it I didn't mean pain.

I'm like a total oddball ... I don't like boxers because it allows stuff to move around and rub on fabric ... which is why I like briefs.

For me I was aroused easily due to uncontrollable touching (walking for example)...sometimes it would be over stimulated and hurt.

Sounds like just another day of being a guy.

I'll tell you a little male secret.  Male parts are very uncomfortable, particularly while walking around, particularly while wearing underwear or clothes that cause chafing.  If the T has caused her clit to grow enough that she's having the same problems that a normal male has, then my best advice is simply to get used to it.

The best bet is to use either extremely tight, or extremely loose underwear.  The extremely loose underwear will (hopefully) not touch the skin at all.  The extremely tight underwear will keep everything in place such that nothing moves around (so no chafing)

My dick grew quite a bit within the first month and it was uncomfortable for a while. It started to rub on my boxers and was pretty uncomfortable and really annoying for about a month or two.
After that my dick seems to have desensitised. I have less feeling when I touch it (although it's very heat sensitive now) and I don't get any rubbing or discomfort anymore. Full sensitivity comes back when aroused.

I'm not on t but mine kinda does that (it always did) and loose boxers or a soft pair of breifs helps.

I've been on T for 9 months.  For the first couple of months the growth downstairs was very dramatic.  What I started out with was basically the head of a pin and now I have what looks very much like a little dick.

After about month 4 or 5 it basically stopped growing.  I wasn't exactly disappointed but of course bigger is better.  Then all of a suddenly recently it started growing again.  At the moment it is extremely sensitive, more so than ever before.  Things like vibrators that I use to have no problem with, and a direct stream of water from the shower head I can barely handle any more.  It is also poking out more than it use to.  This is all a really good thing and the more sensitive the better!  I hope it doesn't stop growing any time soon.

Also curiously the pinnacle of my sexual adventures use to be the orgasm.  Everything else was just to cause the orgasm.  Now as my body changes I'm starting to appreciate the journey more than the destination.  The orgasm is still good but everything up to that point is good too!

Oh and finally I wear tight underwear so I can profess that it works for me to keep the chaffing down.
