I realise all you cold people will send me good wishes. I decided to lie in the sun for a few minutes on Australia day out in the warm sunshine. I've got sunburnt and I've got bikini lines.

I knew you would be sympathetic. Feeling sore (but warm).

Charming, Cind, really.  :P :P

Just don't turn into the leather lady...

Meanwhile, I'll just sit here and be cold and paler than this guy:

Glad to hear your Australia day was a good one though, celebrating that lack of ozone.  :P

Oh you evil woman <shivers> I'll try to be sympathetic as I'm scraping the ice of my car windscreen and pulling on an extra thick outer layer of winter clothing.

Oh you poor thing, not nice at all.  I stayed inside under the A/C for the hottest part of the day,  then went out onto the verandah and had a glass of wine and watched the sunset.

So much sympathy already >:-)

What is this snow stuff? I that something you rub on the body to prevent sunburn? Sarah told me it was 42C in Victoria (Aus)

Hee Hee

I do have compassion,  I think I left it under the sunscreen somewhere.

LOL, Janet. I was going to tell you that Global Moderator CindyJames is baiting us poor souls stuck in the miserable cold weather.

I hadn't realised I'd got so burnt. Owww. My tummy is fluorescent red. I look really stupid with bikini lines and I'm feeling sorry for myself

You be careful doll.

I was that white and now I'm glowing but not in the way we like to use that word.

BTW, you are looking totally awesome. I'm very happy for you and insanely jealous, but I won't mention that. :-*

I need Aloe  Vera every three hours. What time is your flight?

Seriously I was in direct sun for about 15 mins. I'll post pics tomorrow, They are gruesome. I, and most Aussies know how nasty our sun light is but I was in the sun for 15- 30 mins? I have  burns, in 15 mins ??? ???.  Did my legs tan? No. Did my face burn? Yes (wearing a hat and sun cream) Did my tummy burn? Blow torch. I was of course wearing a bikini. I am so sore and itchy. I realise I do not deserve any sympathy, particularly after my rude remarks about snow and cold and stuff. But I am feeling sad and miserable, totally unloved and lonely. Deserve it.

Did I tell you how bad I feel?

Worst thing about sunburn is nobody can hug you either. :'(

Awwww, Cind. Ibuprofen, aloe, a cool bath and air conditioning. Be careful, that sunburn stuff is no joke. :(

*Hugs* (Since they're e-hugs they shouldn't hurt your sunburn too bad)
