This documentary has been on before. It is good, but old now. I guess it doesn't matter how old it is, if this is the first time you have seen it. It is worth watching.

TLC had a show on the night before last about TG. I do not have TV. A friend told me about it. TLC hasn't archived it yet, but I am checking every day. If they finally put it up I will add the link here. I wish I could have seen it. My friend said it was about a couple and it walked ya thru is all.

I might be wrong, but it seemed like it was going to be a series.  Like Monday at 9 cst, I think.  Called "My Unique Family" or something.

oooh that sounds like something TLC would do to...shoot I am gonna have to order cable or something if that is the case. I don't miss TV really, but the show might be good for me. Thanks. Update us if you find out.

I caught most of TransGeneration during a period of time where I was more or less living with someone who had an insanely huge amount of channels.  I found that it was a mixture of ups and downs, boring and interesting.  Which is life I suppose.

You don't have a TV?  How can your existence have any possible meaning without the ability to view the laff-riot known as Fox News?  ;D

ROFLMAO Helen that was great.

Technically I have 4 TV's, I just never signed up for service when I moved here 8 mo ago. It is a small town area so there are not even local channels lol.
I don't mind except for the occassional time I hear from someone that I missed a good show.
I get my news from the net and many things I can watch there too.
I will say I DO miss all my Design Shows and Football

My wife watched My Unique Family the other night. She said it was all right, but missing a lot of information about what happens to the family. She said that they should include some Gender Psychologist in these documentaries as most people really don't understand what is going on. We live it on a daily basis, but most people do not even understand what is going on and they really only think it something like a documentary in some town like San Francisco or LA. Most people think it is some kind of fetish or that it is a person who wants to be a drag queen. Until they meet someone that they know then they understand, sometimes. Well, anyway, I'm glad that more TV shows are putting us out there. It is getting a lot better. I watched Ugly Betty and I have been watching All my children, well some of it. I will be happy when someday it will be common place and not some oddity.

I watched My Unique Family a week ago last Monday where they had Jeff who transitioned into Jenifer.  I thought they did a pretty good job of telling her story, but I agree they should have shown how their families are affected by the change.  I agree having a gender therapist on there would have helped to put things in better perspective.  Especially for those who do not understand gender dysphoria and how it affects a person.  I do think the media is getting better at creating these documentaries from what I have seen in the past.

Last week had the episode showing a family born with a birth defect where the fingers in their hands are conjoined and deformed.  I think this coming Monday night is the episode regarding a family that the mother and father are witches and they are raising their two children to become witches.
