I'm wanting to get a new binder soon, has anyone had any experience with the t-kingdom 980 or 1500?

Bra size: Somewhere in the C range
Binder size: Small
Binder model: It's not an "official" binder per se... it's a medical abdominal binder
Picture of the binder [if possible]: I'll see if I can't get around to adding some later... too lazy to get up now...  :icon_bored:
Location bought: Medical supply store
Price: about $30
Advantages: It's velcro across the chest, easy to get on and off, works pretty well in conjunction with a sports bra and undershirt.
Disadvantages: Though it is an easy on and off, just by it's design it's sometimes difficult to get it tight enough
Other comments: I didn't want to order online for the price, the wait, and the worry that conventional binders wouldn't work since I'm not an A cup... it works for me.

I used an underworks one... It was the muscle shirt style.  Mine were black but I suppose color doesn't really matter much.  No clue on chest size I assume somewhere in the B-C range

Worked really well but rolled up a lot and just felt like a restrictive sports bra which made me cringe so to make up for it I always had to wear pants with a belt and the belt had to be quite tight.  Ended up with some bruises on me hipbones but it wasn't painful (suprisingly) only thing that was painful a bit was the pressure on my shoulders... which is going to be soo nice to live without, but I wont find out how great that feels until I can sleep properly again (2 weeks post op on my chest surgery and can only sleep on my back which I find VERY uncomfortable)

I really did like them and would recommend them although they were the only variety I tried.  I found the fact that they were tucked in helped because it created a sort of fabric bridge from boob to belt which prevented the shape of the boobage being pronounced just made it look like the top of my chest stuck out a bit too much.

Also! greatly helped for keeping me warm in the winter.. I went from wearing 7 shirts one winter to 2 shortsleeved shirts the next. This does of course make for a sweat smelly summer.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I need a new binder. I used to be a C but am probably closer to a B now. What would you guys say is the best binder for a guy my size? I'm thinking of the tri top but I'm just not sure. (I have enough money for the tri top but not much more, and can't ask the mother for money for this, so price is a factor.)

Yochanan: Overall, most people go with Underworks because it's cheaper than T-Kingdom, and the sizes aren't so funky.

Thanks for the reply, dude. Unfortunately, I've given up binding due to rather excruciating pain in ribs/chest. ->-bleeped-<-ing sucks. I've never been more depressed in my life. -_-

Woop.  Old thread resurrection.  I've been meaning to do this for a while, but never got around to it.  But I'm now procrastinating writing a mid-term, so it seemed like the perfect time to do this  :P

--------------------------------------------

Bra size:  Good question.  Uhh, the actual measurement underneath my moobs is about 34"  I dunno about that whole "add five inches to get your band size" thing, so I just buy size 34 sports bras; kinda tight but they bind better.  Over the moobs, my measurement is 35" so if I had to guess cup size, I'd say maybe an A.

Binder size: size 34 sports bra (Fruit of the Loom), size S Underworks Double-Front, size S Underworks Muscle Shirt

Binder model: Underworks DF and Muscle Shirt

Picture of the binder [if possible]: See below.

Location bought:  Underworks

Price: $30 for Double-Front, $33 for Muscle Shirt, not including shipping

How long it lasted before it stopped binding well:  Honestly haven't worn either binder long enough for them to wear out.  The sports bras unfortunately start to loosen up after a few months.

Advantages & Disadvantages:
Sports bras - my usual binding method due to comfort.  Binds well enough I guess, but I'm still insecure about my chest.  Find myself hunching my shoulders a lot.

Double-Front - gets me pretty darn flat.  Unfortunately, it also compresses my ribs quite a lot (decreases my rib circumference by about 2") and seriously restricts my breathing.  I get fluid buildup in my lungs and get headaches if I try to move faster than a slow walk.  I notice my abdomen protrudes quite a bit when wearing the DF; it does try to hold it in, but I guess because I can't breath that well, I stick my diaphragm out to compensate for the lost lung capacity.  Needless to say, I don't wear the thing even if it works great on my chest.

Muscle Shirt - quite comfortable but doesn't bind much better than a sports bra.  I can breath pretty good in it, though after 8 hours my back hurts a bit.

Other comments:  I tend to wear black a lot.  I use a sports bra to bind, which still leaves some visible lumps.  The black renders invisible any shadows that my chest might create (with colored shirts, there is definitely some shadowing going on that gives my chest away).  Unfortunately, this illusion only works from the front; the black does little to conceal the lumps as seen from the side.  For both the DF and MS, I push my moobs up and out (towards my armpits).

--------------------------------------------

A frontal comparison of all three binding methods.  The first pic was taken wearing a sports bra, my usual binding method.  From the front it works pretty good.  I don't have shirt frontal pics for the Double-Front and Muscle Shirt because they look the same as the sports bra pic.  Comparing the DF and Muscle Shirt binders, you can see that the DF does compress my ribs by a fair bit (my ribs normally flare out at the bottom; the DF gets rid of this).  The last pic is the DF with my tightest, most chest-hugging shirt.  I can't get away wearing it with a sports bra or MS, but with the DF it looks pretty good.

--------------------------------------------

Compare the sports bra and MS shots and you'll see that they bind about the same.  The biggest problem I have with the sports bra and MS is that my moobs still sit pretty low on my chest.  I like how the DF brings things up; looks more like a male chest to me and less like saggy boobs.  The last is a pic of the DF with a chest-hugging shirt.

--------------------------------------------

A side comparison of the DF and MS.  Note the flatter contour the DF is able to achieve.  It also compresses my hip fat so my jeans hang lower.

Got my first one a few weeks ago.

Bra size: 30 something AA-A

Binder size: Medium (I measured about 31in bust)

Binder model: (white) T-Kingdom M980

Picture of the binder [if possible]: No pics sorry

Location bought: T-Kingdom

Price: Around $40 (S&H included)

How long it lasted before it stopped binding well: Brand new.

Advantages:
-Decent for flattening if you have a small chest.
-Very comfortable and snug. In fact, way more comfortable than bras.

Disadvantages:
-A little difficult to get on and off.
-Probably not a good choice if you're bigger than an A. It doesn't bind amazingly well, just smooths out my chest.
-The neck and sleeve areas poke out a little, especially if I cross my arms. That also makes the shirt over the top poke out a little in those areas (any suggestions for this?)

Other comments: Decent binder so far. Hopefully the pokey parts will stretch and flatten out the more I wear it. Also it took a few weeks to ship.

has anyone gotten a binder from lesloveboat dot com? im wondering how well they work

a few of us have, I like mine. It works well and is comfortable with one minor problem. The velcro edge sometimes digs in.

My girlfriend just bought me my first binder. Ite the underworks triton model. I'm like s 38DD but I'm also like 125 pounds so I'm a little guy. She got me a medium. Do you think that will fit. My chest isn't really the most "perky" either.
