Has anyone ever noticed that it's easier to pass in the winter? I think I notice only because I'm still pre HRT. It kills me because I live in California and the girls here strip down to basically nothing as soon as June rolls around. Maybe I should move to Minnesota. Ah, society.  ::)

I'm 26 and when I tell people I feel old they just glare at me, lol.

Yeah I feel the same way. I don't even tell other people because I know the reaction it will provoke. I'm not sure whether it's because of social obsession with youth or having been through alot more than most people my (chronological) age. Maybe both.

When I had money for clothes I pretty much got whatever I liked that actually fit this body, though that certainly took a great deal of searching. Unless you're going to work/interview then I say don't worry about what other people think of your style, or perhaps lack thereof in my case...

Wow yes I also like it better when it's cold, which doesn't happen nearly enough in Florida! Then I can wear more clothes to cover up all the ugliness... It also doesn't make me as jealous to see all the other girls wearing all this stuff that I never could.

Part of the reason I decided to transition at the start of the year

Kinda what I was thinking.. 24 is not old. Seriously.
Wear what you like, if you feel it's slutty and you don't like it find something you like that isn't slutty.

I don't feel this way about clothes but at the ripe old age of 19 I do feel old, like I've lost time.

Crap, I turn 27 soon...  I still want to dress like I'm 18 though but I think I can 'kinda' get away with it cause I still look youngish and even get carded for cigs yet a lot of times.  I feel like though that I like missed out on my teens years and being able to dress as a girl so that might be part of it.  27....  omg I really don't act my age at all.

Welcome to the club! I'm 27 and freakin' love it (except for the whole missed out on my youth and testosterone thing)! My inner girl has grown in total dysfunctional sync, without a doubt, since I was since fourteen. Ladies in their prime are gifted with a sophisticated sultriness that's like catnip to the guys (if you're into guys, I can do both). Acting and dressing your age also helps keep the jackals at bay. I have noticed younger ggirls routinely "cataloging" my outfits for future reference, which can be very flattering.

The only time I'm not carded is when my baby is with me.
