this is pretty sad but you know, when I am looking good I tend to feel good....when i dont wear makeup, my self esteem consequencally suffers,,,,,,im a troubled one arent I?

I don't know anyone who doesn't feel that way.  When you take care of yourself and look good..you can approach the world with your head held high.

I dont think it is bad.

We all prefer to look our best, especially us girls. We are after all told this everyday in Magazines and on Television.

I dont think you should feel especially bad as your natural self though. You are, after all said and done what you are, and you should feel comfortable in your own skin. Even if a bit of face paint makes you feel a bit better.

As long as you don't obsess about it, it is all a bit of fun.  Everyone likes to look presentable and show a bit of personal pride, otherwise it would be a drab,smelly world.

May I suggest, self extem is directly related t how you see your beauty?

Few girls really think of themselves as perfect. But they adapt and adjust. Clothes and hair are as important as makup and posture.

I knew a girl once who had a really long chin. But she was so bubbly and funny, everyone loved her.

One of the things I dislike most about living the male, drab life is seeing my face without makeup of any kind.  I feel like it's a blank slate, crying for and demanding some adornment.  Even wearing just a bit of foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick makes me feel so much better, it's amazing.

Nope I think its normal to have low days all part of the ups and downs of life...an if truth be told we all wear make-up as a form of armour to pick-you-up....protect ourselves

If I've got a tough interview to nail, or I need to feel 'on it' for a key presentation...then the full monty goes on...

But its not the real me....lol

I'm lucky that in my most private life and with my b/f he's kool with me totally plain Jane at a weekend, though if we go out I will gleam/glam-up as necessary...

But lipsticks the quick-fix saviour....

And if i'm feeling lousy, yucky-yoo and need to get out into the park, walk around for some air.... its simply a case of whack it on and then go wander...

Chin up lovely.... and another cheap way to feel great sans everything is to run a long hot bath and float and soak...awhile. 

Thank you all so very much for your kind words! I really need to hear some of those right now. I feel so down right now, all alone and lonely. I long  to be in love with someone and they with me. To care and be cared about, you know someting real, non materialistic and true. I had to get that out, express it!!! Thank ou all so very much for taking the time to read my post and also for responding....I really do love getting responses.....


BTW, for those of you that may be familiar with me and some of my addicdtion struggles I want to proudly say that I have remained drug free through all of it,,,,,, i am proud of myself for that.

Start running, cycling, roller-blading if you can't afford a gym membership...

Self-made endorphins are free - and the best for you come what may...
