Hello everyone! I just wanted to first say that I am extremely excited and grateful that a community such as this exists! I think it is such a beautiful thing that people with this particular commonality can talk openly and (hopefully) without harsh judgments from others!
Now to my "intro", firstly I use quotes way to much! But hopefully that won't be too off putting to you all!
My name is Piper, and I have in the past year finally came to terms with my ->-bleeped-<-. I don't really know yet where I stand exactly in the "gender binary", but I'm fairly certain I am a female. It almost makes me ill when someone calls me "sir" or anything indicative of male gender. In my childhood I would love to wear my sister's dresses and at the time I think I was just playing "dress up" but I never realized it could possibly be my gender identifying itself!
Apart from my being trans, I am an artist, and a big nerd! I love history, culture, music, and learning! I like to look through a positive glass at the world and see the beauty in everyone and everything! I don't see the need for unnecessary negativity!
I live in a small town in the southern U.S. so that's nice.. >_> haha! I am the only trans person here, I'm pretty sure.. It's comes with it's frustrations, especially since I couldn't even imagine trying to go out publicly as my true self, but I'm always looking to a better future!

P.S. I wasn't sure how to find out, but I can't seem to edit my profile at all, and it's kind of bothering me! lol! Like adding a photo, my gender, etc? I've looked everywhere and perhaps I'm just missing something, so if anyone has any advice there I would love it!
