I have never really liked chocolate ...occassionaly when it's shark week I get a craving ... I crave beef a lot when I work out ... I totally would take a steak over a piece of chocolate any day

I've never liked chocolate in candy form, however I do like chocolate cookies and cakes.

I've always liked chocolate, though I'm rather picky about it. I only like the good stuff that's made with real cocoa and not alot of artifical ingredients. My favorite is Green & Black's, but it's pretty expensive so I only get it when I find it on sale. It is certainly a good day when that happens =)

I'm way pickier when it comes to beer than I am with chocolate.  Give me a hershey bar any day and I'm a happy camper.  Besides, nothing makes a better s'more than hershey's milk chocolate.

Chocolate knows no sex or gender.

Chocolate knows only good taste.  :)

(and I have no problem saying that I could give Troi from Star Trek a run for her money as far as chocolate consumption!)

Also, you haven't fully lived until you've eaten Belgian chocolate.  The French come in a close second.  I will not comment about what I think of UK or US chocolate compared to good chocolate, other than to say it is still chocolate and thus a good thing.  :)

Have you tried these?

Extra dark chocolate, 70%...
There are no words for how good those are...

Tried these tonight. Found them at Target for like $2 and change. I like the dark chocolate shell, but the truffle filling still tastes too greasy for me.
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

Now, that depends on the chocolate..

White chocolate just tastes like butter with a sprinkle of vanilla sugar to me. Utterly disgusting.

Milk chocolate is a little fatty for my tastes. And some milk chocolate feels a little chalky in the mouth, like the Swedish made chocolate.. :/

Now... give me a dark chocolate that melts in my mouth, and I'll melt along with it.
Give me a cup of coffee with it, and I'll be yours for the day!

THIS.

Also, while I've always loved chocolate, I no longer HAVE to have it. I can take  it or leave it.  But who in thier right mind leaves chocolate....

If you gave me a choice between that and steak however, screw the candy XD. I crave steak alot now.

I'm really interested to see if T changes my tastes.  Maybe it's just me getting used to non-vegan things, but I can't stand a lot of foods, most meat included.  It will be so weird to get steak cravings.

.... When I get payed this tuesday, I'm marching my shrinking ass right up to Bónus and obtaining a whale-meat steak!
It's like the softest, richest, most beautiful cut of beef you can imagine, that's infused with seasalt.. making it taste a little bit like the smell of the ocean.
And the proper way to cook it is "seared on the outside, deep red on the inside!"

Plenty of vegan guys out there, nothing wrong with that.

I've always been a meat-eater. T's got nothing to do with it. Honestly, I can't think of anything about my tastes or personality that's been changed by T.

i have to admit, at the risk of being pelted to unconsciousness with frozen hard dove chocolate candies, I don't really like sweets at all. I will just take seconds of a savory meal. yep...i said it.....i don't eat sugar. that feels so good to say out loud. LOL

I've always liked chocolate, but only dark chocolate will do.  Milk chocolate tastes gross to me now - a bit of a change since it was tolerable before.

As for the other line of conversation in this thread, my love of meats has not gone away.  I can't eat super-greasy meat anymore, but give me a properly prepared cheeseburger and I will melt with pleasure.

No change here.  But I've always been much more of a vanilla person.

I've pretty much always hated chocolate, and even after HRT, I still do. It's just something I never cared for.  :-\

I've been on a vegan diet past few years T didn't make me crave animals. I was worried before on T, but it didn't happen.
