A WOMEN'S prison is at the centre of a bizarre gender storm after it emerged one inmate was born a man - and is still waiting for her swap op.

Nicola Wilson, 23, has been closely guarded by staff at tough Cornton Vale nick since being remanded on an assault charge.

She was born Joseph and STILL has a willy despite having started to form breasts as part of the sex-change process.
