Pubertal Gynecomastia on Breast Growth

Hello everyone!

I am starting HRT in a month and I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with Pubertal Gynecomastia and how HRT effects those with it. Do they develop faster? Do they develop larger? Does Pubertal Gynecomastia cause them to develop differently in any other ways? or is there no real difference caused by it?

Thanks in Advance,
Christine

I don't know because I have no point of comparison.

All I can tell you is that I had slight but noticeable Gynecomastica before HRT, I developed fast and eventually achieved an F cup bust. However as I say as I cannot go back and live my life again without the Gynecomastica I cant say whether that would have happened anyway or not.

Well, I'm another one with noticeable Gynecomastica before HRT and I've gone to a C cup at the mo and still growing, lol. Well the pain never seems to go away and OMG, hit them accidentally and you go through the roof with pain. So I guess with two of us already there's a little evidence that it might help. At the end of the day it is still down to genetics and how many estrogen receptors you have in your body and breast area.  Gynecomastica might be an indication of a good amount of estrogen receptors. Just a thought but no evidence.

I had gynecomastia as well. I already had milk duct glands in my right breast before HRT (my endo told me). Maybe they are an indicator of greater estrogen receptors, I don't know, but my breasts did get to a good size pretty quickly. I am a B cup right now and got there after about 2.5 to 3 months, but I started larger than an A, just under a B. I can tell you I saw some rather dramatic changes to my face very quickly although some of that was weight loss too. I became pretty passable after only about three months of HRT and have been full time since Jauary 20th with pretty much no issues going out in public. Breasts help greatly there. My body took to the E like a duck to water.

This is a subject of great interest to me, as I'm in the same boat.

What worries me is this: Is this an "advance" on what I'd have, anyway, so I'm not really likely to develop much more, or is it rather a "bonus", above and beyond what I'd normally get?

Essentially, imagine my future boobs are rated 10 on an arbitrary scale - does this mean I'm already at stage, say, 5, and therefore only have half as much left, or that I'm at 5 but the end has been raised to 15? (Numbers don't mean anything particular - just there to make my point more clear.)

I don't think anyone can answer that. I have had additional breast growth over what I started with. Does that mean that maybe I will reach the closer to my full genetic potential had I been born in a female body compared to the typical 39yr old transitioner? I don't know. Maybe? Passing is a damn sight easier with boobs than without. That I do know.

I can imagine. And, yeah, it's probably one of those things that you'd need a skilled and dedicated team of medical scientists to find the truth about.

For now, I just take pleasure in knowing that no matter how much or little I end up with, I won't end up with nothing.

Wow...I was just about to post this question....I have gynecomastia (try going swimming with friends trying to hide girl boobs! And I am slender/skinny. Horrifying then...a blessing now.) and was wondering about the same thing. Did you find that other feminine characteristics associated with HRT were accelerated or had very positive results?

Well I was technically intersex. I needed no FFS, I had no adams apple, my voice had only had limited lowering at puberty, and I had mild gynaecomastica.

I got rapid results, my boobs got pretty big and I developed moderately wide hips (which of course isn't supposed to happen). Because of the limited masculinisation that I had undergone I needed no silcone or other treatment beyond HRT and basic SRS.

So yeah I would say results were good and fast. Although it should be admitted that I was young too, which probably helped as well.

Well, I seemed to develop passibility very fast. About 3 months on HRT and I went out and nobody blinked when I used the ladies. Who knows, I may have been read by somebody, but if it has happened, it hasn't been terribly obvious to me. I had a similar puberty to Jenny though. My voice didn't drop much, no adams apple, gynecomastia and I guess rather feminine facial features. As for voice, I just use the comfortable upper part of my regular speaking voice and take as much of the resonance out as I can and everyone seems to buy that as female too. Including on the phone where they can't see me. I have often wondered if I might be intersex to, but my endo didn't bother looking into it when I met with him, although I did ask. I'm not sure what I would do with that information even if it was confirmed. I don't know if I will get the rest Jenny did, especially since I started at 39, but I guess I can hope!

You can see my vlogs here if you want to see what I sound and look like:
