Frances

Monday is the big day. I will be entering the clinic on Sunday night. It has been a long journey, but I am finally there. The three weeks without hormones have been very hard. Fortunately, I was able to take the week off before the surgery to relax.

AWESOME!!!!  I'm happy for you Frances!  You are about to endure what could be the greatest experience of your life--literally!  Dr. Brassard and his staff are the absolute best, the residence and food are world class, and the bonding experience with other patients is unlike any other.  Remember, if you have any questions or specifics regarding your surgery, don't be afraid to discuss them with Dr. Brassard because he can and will give you exactly what you want.

Best of luck--not that you will need any--and we'll see you in the post-op section!!!!  :)

Thank you for the messages and well wishes.

Note: My name is Frances on this site with an "e" like Frances Farmer. Though pronounced the same, Francis with a "i" is a boy name, like Francis Sinatra, and is the English version of my old boy name. It makes me a little uneasy to see it in replies. My actual name is the one on my Facebook page (the link in my signature).

Sandy

Frances, or Caroline, if you prefer.

Regardless.  Congratulations!  Heal well and take it easy in your recovery.  All of your friends here will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

And when you get back, we want a full debrief about your experience.  It's one of the unwritten TOS... *kidding!*

And I might add that you are quite fetching.  Very beautiful.

Take care!

Post-op five days now. I am still in a lot pain, but mainly discomfort. Sitting is not obvious. The recovery centre is wonderful, and the staff is amazing. I cannot wait, however, to be well enough to leave! Dr. Brassard is incredibly charming and debonair. It is like having James Bond do surgery on you. I will do a full report when I can sit in front of the computer longer.
