I've recently talked to my mum about how depressed not being able to forward my transition is making me, and she's said that she would talk to my dad about (who is the obstruction in this case). I've been thinking a lot about possible taking puberty blockers or human growth hormones, but I'm not exactly sure what the effects are. I really want to grab some height before I take testosterone (whenever that may be), so I'm hoping if you guys could tell me some things..
I've been having periods for about two years, haven't really grown all that much in these past two years.
-Will puberty blockers make me any taller? Will they reverse the effects of puberty?
-Will growth hormones definitely make me taller? Will they effect all of my body (as in, if they make me taller will they make my hips bigger as well? etc.)?
-Is it safe to take these both at the same time? Or will puberty blockers outweigh the effects the growth hormones?

I'm hoping I can go and see a doctor and a therapist soon, so I don't have a lot of professional information at hand right now. Thanks in advance.

I'm currently taking Lupron, a hormone blocker, it CAN make you taller, but not always. It depends on how along you are in puberty, if you bone plates have not fused together, hormone blockers will keep them from fusing allowing you to grow, but it depends on the person. Lupron will not reverse the affect of puberty, but will keep puberty from progressing (and will stop the monthly).

well right now i am on hormone blocker and i will answer your questions mostly from expirience and partly from wat doctors have told me.
1. they dont MAKE u grow taller but they LET u grow taller
2. they make your period stop
3. if yur chest is small enough then they can make your flat chested
4. if yur chest is too big that #3 cant happen then it will stop yur chest from getting any bigger.
5. it pretty much stops puberty
