Me and my old man have been reconnecting over the last 3 years or so and he knows and has met my girlfriend, loves her to bits. But I just dont know how to go about bringing up the subject of FTM. Some times I find it hard to talk to him because I'll say somthin and then I just get "hmm" and "yep". Its kinda frustratin in general. I mean I told him of our plan for a ceremony in 2015 and I really had to push to get anything beyond "hmm". I plan on starting T this year but feel I should tell him before hand. He lives cross country so face to face is out. Only see him once a year and he is always surrounded by the family. Didnt really want to do it as a business meetin.

Any ideas on brakin the Ice and "Hmm's"?
