Carmen Rupe back in Sydney hospital

Carmen Rupe is back in St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, where she had surgery last night.

Close friend "->-bleeped-<- Granny" Jacquie Grant says she understands that a recently inserted artificial hip joint became disconnected while Carmen was convalescing in a nursing home.

Long-time friend Robin Waerea, who is acting as her guardian, says she is now back in her ward recovering and is doing ok.
