THE PUBLICATION OF what The Sun newspaper calls "a fun quiz on gender" has been strongly criticised for reinforcing stereotypes about transgender people.

The quiz carries the headline 'Tran or woman?' and features 14 pictures of "ambiguous beauties", as Sun writer Dulcie Pearce describes them. The quiz also features on pages 24-25 of today's Irish Sun. One of the pictures is of the actor/comedian David Walliams dressed up as a female character from his TV show Come Fly With Me.

Being british I can confirm that this is exactly true.

The Sun = The National Enquirer

Yeah, but the NE is only put out every week, The Sun publishes daily.

Hold on there are WAY too many words in that headline.

It should simply read: The Sun "offensive" and unacceptable

Anyone actually reading the Sun immediately qualifies as almost sub human in my opinion.

Mind you it is more like a comic than a newspaper, so maybe the description "reading" is a bit overstating things.

That's what makes it so fun to read now and then. That and spotting the really badly justified text.
