And now, just when you thought it safe to be an American and a Christian, comes this new threat. Here is the latest conspiracy that shows that our great President is secretly plotting to have our country overrun and taken over by evil outside forces.

This really gets wacky. Let you be the judge!  :D

The worst part is a considerable % of the Republican Party, and perhaps a majority of their base believes this.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Obama has spent millions hiding his past? He won't produce his birth certificate? Hmmm...
OMG, Obama is a transman!

It's a lot less funny when you consider:

1. They are serious
2. They are organized
3. They are winning
4. They talk about Second Amendment solutions when they lose.

Maybe we should ask them about aliens and ghosts.  There's not much difference between alien hunters or ghost hunters and Obama hunters.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

In order to win elections the republicans sold out to the religious right during the Clinton years, now the inmates are running the asylum.
Our biograhies are our own and we need to accept our own diversity without being ashamed that we're somehow not trans enough.

When Hitler was running for office in Germany, a lot of Germans lough at him and his "insane" and idiotic positions. Nobody seriously thought that this "clown" would win the elections. Well, he won and millions of people die. I take all extremist serious! We are all at risk it these people take control of the country. I heard those people advocating death to transgendered people. These were the people that back in the 80"S PREACHED THAT THE HIV VIRUS WAS SENT BY G-D TO PUNISH HOMOSEXUALS

KEEP ON EYE ON THEM AND OPPOSE THEM AT EVERY TURN

More Republican propaganda. The real threat is not radical Islam, but radical Christianity. Just look at history: Crusades, Inquisition, witch trials, forcible conversion of Northern Europe and the Americas... These people want everyone who isn't one of them to die in the streets. They seem to think that that would somehow make the world a great place to live. Forget about the pollution and hate that they're filling it with... Sometimes I think the day may come when we'll need a Second Ammendment solution to the radical right problem...

Radical religious beliefs, no matter the sect, are the problem.

History talks about the fall of the Roman Empire - an empire that conquered practically all of Europe, including what is now Great Britain.  They were a war machine and wanted to conquer the world.  But the Roman Empire really never faded away, it mutated into the Christian Empire and now they had God on their side.  They used many of the same tactics to conquer as the Romans.  The waged war on non-Christians and did very well.

Emperor Constantine organized Christians.  Subsequent emperors integrated Christian beliefs into Roman culture.  Bishops and Arch-bishops became judges, Christians became juries.  Romans converted to Christianity.  The Roman Empire simply morphed and became the Christian Empire.  And  their headquarters are still in Rome.

The Roman empire before it was corrupted by Christianity was quiet religious tolerant. Before the christian persecution and destruction of other religions, you could find many temples of many religious deities across the empire. The only Roman condition was that you had to accept that the Emperor was divine. Nobody seriously beloved that any Emperor was divine but everybody accepted it, as this was more political than an act of faith. Before Christianity the Roman Empire brought peace, stability, sanitation, eduction, and better commerce to the conquered lands. The conquered people usually retained their kings, gods, traditions, language, and laws. All of these changed  the advent of Christianity, starting with the burning of the library of Alexandria. Christianity indeed caused the fall of the "good" Roma Empire and directly cause the "dark ages." Imagine if Christianity had not developed their virulent hatred for science and technology and intolerance for other faiths, we the western society will be advanced by a 1,000 years of technical, sociological, and artistic development.

Perhaps "militant" would fit better. Supporting LGBT people can also be radical.

Not all religions have a militant side.  Book-based religions seem particularly plagued by it however.

Its not news, its entertainment.  "If it bleeds, it leads".  The truth doesn't matter, telling a good story does - the truth just gets in the way most of the time.
