So, I probably sound really out of touch asking this, but does anyone know of any good chat rooms that I could try?

I suck at interacting with people socially, and I don't pass at all (other than as a 15 yr old which, after talking to me, I'm clearly not,) so I was thinking I'd try talking to people online.  I figure it will give me a chance to be myself without worrying about ->-bleeped-<-ing up and outing myself.  The problem is, I've never used a chat room before, and I can't think of any special interests ie anime, kayaking, etc. that would help me find a specific chat room with people to whom I could relate.  The only thing I could say is that in general I'm open minded, artistic, and intelligent.  So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them.    Thanks!

you could try Omegle, i go on there sometimes, but it might take a few tries to find a person willing to actually chat.

Hahaha, I love omegle! You get bad eggs on there a lot, but there are also quite a few gems too. I've made some of my best frinds on there.

Have you ever tried our chat room?  There is a lot of us in there.

IMVU is a funny one, you can create an interactive character to chat with. But a lot of people get creepy/sexual. I'm not even sure if it supposed to be a dating chat thing or what but I went on it with one of my college friends for kicks. Chat rooms aren't really my thing so I mostly just do it for jokes.

I guess there's chat roulette aswell
