This question is intended for those on testosterone. When did you notice visible facial hair. I'm not talking about being within 5 inches of a mirror and squinting to see the hair, I mean the kind where you can see it without any problems, or other people notice it.

I'm about 4 months on T and I took some high res pictures trying to see if I was growing any hair. I wear glasses and can't see any hair but somehow in these high res pictures you can see hair (barely).

i noticed peach fuzz coming in thicker around 4-5. I'm just over a year now and I've got tons up close but not enough from a distance to be proud of it

My girlfriend says she noticed mine at 3-4 months but I think it was more like 6 months when I did. I had like 3 or 4 hairs then like 5493753824090 of them all of a sudden.

It looks like yours is coming in slowly though that's good.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

I got a noticeable puberty 'stache around 2 months, as commented upon by my mother. I've got some pretty thick hairs under my lip that are usually hidden in shadow, but are obvious in light. I've also got sort of wispy sideburn things, hard to say when that started. Always had some there, they just darkened a bit, enough to be a nuisance that I had to shave.

I'm about 4.5 months on T, and I've got some significant facial hair coming in.  I mean, not enough to really be proud of, but enough that if I don't shave at least once a week I look pretty scraggly.  It started on my chin, and now I have some growing in the sideburn and moustache areas and a few random ones on my cheeks.  If I go more than a week without shaving, it's definitely noticeable to others, as long as they're near me (you can't see it across a room or anything).  But I'm prone to being hairy, so I think this is probably happening faster to me than it does to most people.

I think it really varies a lot for everyone, especially since everyone begins at different levels of hairiness!
Me, I had some dark face fuzz pre-T (Iranian genes..) and I also was started off on a higher dose than most people usually are I think. So facial hair came in pretty quick. At 4 months it's now noticeable across a table in a pub.. But not that obvious in most photos because it's still quite fine and the darkest, thickest hairs are in the shadow underneath my jaw/chin.

If you really wanna bring out the hairs in a photo though, try using the flash (even if it's light) :)
These two photos were taken at the same time with the same camera:

Can't see anything at all in the second one!

My mustache first got noticed on New Year's, so somewhere between 2 and 3 months, but the person who noticed was a very good friend who knows I'm transitioning and is paying attention to changes. I also had approximately zero facial or body hair pre-T, so any change was noticeable to someone who knew me well.

If I'd started with more, it wouldn't have been noticeable...coming up on 6 months it's still clear and only requires shaving about every 2-3 weeks or so, easily within female norms even for a blonde, just new for me.

I've been on T for 9 months. for me it was within the first month. However i had a good size patch under my chin since i was 16 tho. Most of my male family members can't grown anything much beyond a dark puberty mustache which is what i have now, but i my sideburns are real good. it gets darker and thicker every week, went from shaving every two weeks at first to needing to shave every day (which I don't). But I got blessed with my second go around with puberty acne lol so i walk around lookin like a bum most of the time. Everyone is different when it when it comes to when and how much and all that. I have noticed that for guys who haven't had a hysto it seems to take longer tho.

Yeah I guess I should have mentioned I was on estrogen blockers for about the first four months.
