jqual....I'm not sure why I have lucked out in this area, but I'm grateful. With a brand new DJ's PPP, I work the tubing out the tip until only about 1 1/2--two inches is left on the in side. Cut the end off (DO NOT do it from the spoon end as previously discussed).
This seems to fit nicely in BVD tighty whities for packing. It's just the right size for me, feels very comfy. For whatever reason I don't seem to feel the spoon?....I am very active and can honestly say, the only activity that it ever bothers me is biking, in which case I can do a quick adjustment. I can't really think of ever breaking the spoon, maybe once? When it's time to whiz, whip it out, just a quick adjustment gets the spoon in the magic spot, and you're free to "go"! Gently press on the balls to seal the deal.
Someone (Sean?) correctly suggested that people may have trouble with the medicine spoon due to their dysphoria in that area, and I agree, you really do have to get to know your anatomy intimately to get it to work, but for me, there was no question I needed to do this DUE to my dysphoria. I actually had made my own realistic STPs for years and years before they were (or I figured out they were) commercially available (DJ actually complimented me on "making something useful for yourself!" LOL).
I usually don't wear boxers or boxer briefs, but if I get a hankering to, I use the PPP with a Stand to Urimate packer holder. Not as natural looking in the jeans that way, but oddly amazing for JO--something about it bouncing around with the elastic? Hope not TMI!!
I'm pretty small, average build with no hips to speak of, nothing special...? Just lucky, I guess! They work for me...and I hope you find one that works as well for you!!
