Wednesday. WEDNESDAY.... Big day. Name change court date. Waiting for it to come is -

Ugh, hurry can come Wednesday, the 23rd, hurry and come.

The night before  Christmas the girls were in stealth
Come  Cindy, come Janet come Roxy and all,
we await eagerly at the door.

Samantha leads us as ever before
She has the scalpel and posts good wishes to all.

I think being nominated as the Queen's favourite poet may have been premature.

I have mine on April 5th! The wait isn't so bad for me, though. The day I went to the courthouse to turn in the petition for a name change, when I was waiting for the bus, there was a double rainbow!! It made me so happy. The lower rainbow was really bold and beautiful, too. It was probably the most pronounced and boldly colored rainbow I've ever seen in my life.

I remember going nutz myself when I was waiting for the big day.
Wednesday is almost here, you must be bouncing off the walls.

the 23rd HUH?  Well that is a good reason to look forward to Wednesday.

Just don't think about it.  Focus on some thing else.

It's impossible not to think about! It's so major! But time doesn't seem to be going slow for me or anything. But ugh. Anyway, I hope this little bit of good news can help raise the spirit of the my fellow Susan's friends, because there is always a sad gloom over the place 

I'm so happy for you Samantha. I remember when you were moaning about it being so far away and now it is around the corner!

My date is April 7th and it is killing me too! Today, they asked me my name to check it against my credit card at Firehouse subs, and then they yelled it out to the whole store when my order came up. Awesome. I can't wait until that is a distant memory.

It's at 8:30am, UGH!!!! But I did manage to get 6-7 solid hours of sleep. I'm leaving in about 30 minutes, I'm so excited!

Merry Christmas!!

OMG I went CRAZY waiting for my name change. Things kept going in circles, lawyer forgot to send some paper back so added an extra month etc etc. Then DMV screwed up something and had to wait 2 weeks extra for actual picture ID etc. But when I FINALLY got ID with my new name and looking like a woman in the picture was JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS!!
