The world's first pregnant man has filed for bankruptcy after his T-shirt printing business was hit by prejudice and then the recession.

Thomas Beatie and his wife Nancy had their family home in Bend, Oregon, repossessed in January, less then a year after he gave birth to their third child.

The Beaties need to find work which will make them $5,000 a month to pay the mortgage on the Phoenix house, utility bills and living costs so they can escape State welfare.

The Beaties need to live within their means. You're telling me that you need $60K a year to 'just get by.'  And, despite the fact that neither of them are working, they are going to have another baby anyway.

He was apparently making $100,000 a (some) month(s) just from the stock market alone. They lost over $600,000 in the stock market crash and the economy (and having a kid) took a toll on his business. Of course they would have bills and a mortgage they could no longer afford. They *were* living within their means before all of that happened.

I don't agree with adding another kid into the mix until they can get off of welfare.

Seriously. I hate when people do that. Having a kid, fine. Things happen. But planning a fourth kid while you STILL can't support yourselves?
