Can any body tell me about how long on hormones will it take for erections to falter or stop? And about how long will it be before I should expect my testicles to shrink? Thanks in advance for the help.

It all happened within the first month or so for me. 

I can still get erections but I have to consciously try.

It happen to me within a week on low dose spiro.

Shrinkage was within a week or so.  But an erection would be a year prior.  That was just something that never happened very often.  That was and is the most discussing thing for me.

SRS can not come to soon.

I am seeing the Endo in a week, so will be able to answer the shrinkage question soon.  As for the other, that hasn't happened properly for ages, can't really remember when.  Don't care either to be honest. It would seem that my sexuality has changed with a more emotional response rather than a purely physical one being evident.

According to my informal and very inaccurate measurement, the testicles shrink measurably after 1 to 3 weeks on a pretty low dose of E & Spiro. It has since felt to be even smaller, but not in terms of actual measurement. I think that one's more of a change in feeling in the area after hormones.

Hard erection disappear pretty quickly as well. Can still get an erection with effort and touch down there, but they are relatively soft erection, and one that disappear quickly once stop touching. At 3 months it has gotten to the stage where getting an erection is difficult even with effort.

Testicle shrinkage happens within the first month. On the other hand, I learned from years of going on and off self-medicating that the testicles also "come back" in about the same amount of time when you stop hormones.

I wana thank everybody for the info. I can now saw after 6 days of hrt that erections will start to suffer after about 3 or 4 days. And if your like me you'll see some testicular shrinkage after a week.

o_O i'm nearly at 4 months HRT and i haven't noticed any difference in that area. mm maybe because i'm only on E so far. no anti-androgen

Yep... So far for me spiro is the only thing wielding results.

  I'm past 4 1/2 months full HRT and all down there has shrunk.  The urethera as well, it takes longer to urinate.  All is qiuet down there!
