Hairdresser helps suicidal ->-bleeped-<-, delays him with dye to call police for help

http://themacombdailyinsider.blogspot.com/2011/04/hairdresser-helps-suicidal-->-bleeped-<-.html

Roseville police were called Saturday afternoon to a local hair salon after a stylist reported a client was having suicidal thoughts. Turns out, the client was a pre-op transsexual, or a man looking to become a woman. But that's not why he got the hairdresser's attention. In the midst of having his hair dyed, he confided to the stylist he was there with a single purpose.
He wanted to look good in his casket.
The man said he planned to hang himself when he got home.

That article's a bit confusing. First it says ->-bleeped-<-, then it says pre-op transsexual which they describe as a "man looking to become a woman"...
The police end up leaving and just trusting that everything will be ok? "The Insider assumes they gave him options for handling depression"

Something tells me the situation could have been handled better.

Disrespectful articles like this are a manifestation of a cissexist society that drives up the trans suicide rate. Oh, the irony... :icon_no:

But on the bright side I guess this could have ended a lot more tragically.

They most likely will not like my comment.  I did their job for them and altered the article.
