I finally got my first shot of T yesterday! I was perscribed Delatestryl, testosterone enanthate. I recieved an injection of ... and it will be administered biweekly....

As stoked as I am, I am wondering if anyone takes higher doses than that for the purpose of body building? Also, more frequently? Like, weekly instead of biweekly? I've been researching it a lot lately, and feel like I may be on a lower dose than many people take.

I just started so I'm not super informed, and haven't experienced any physical changes yet, but I'm wondering if anyone has advice to give me for doses vs. mass? I work out 4 times a week usually and would like to start seeing some results.

Cheers, guys.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to list your dose on this site. Congrats though.

If you take too much testosterone, your body will convert it to estrogen. Crazy but true.  biweekly is a pretty typical dose so you probably don't need to change it.

The time releaseof delatestryl in your body is 10 to 14 days after the injection.

People who inject weekly will typically inject half as much each time (whatever a person's ideal dose is). So if you switch to weekly, you'd just be told to inject half the amount you already do biweekly. It's better for smoothing out the peaks and valleys (troughs) of the drug delivery, but you have to do twice as many injections, which has other risks (e.g., twice as many chances for infection) and inconveniences (e.g., if you're not self-injecting).

Be patient and you will see results. Too much testosterone can be as bad for you as too little.

Bodybuilders who use performance enhancing drugs do it differently than we do, because they have different goals in mind. For example, female bodybuilders want to get the anabolic effects (the part that makes the muscles grow) but NOT the androgenic effects (the part that gives you facial hair). So that's really the wrong tree to be barking up anyway.
