Hello everyone. So I think I should start some kind of laser soon, but as I am only 18 and most likely not finished actually getting all the facial hair I could be, is there a point in getting laser b4 t-blockers? If I was to go, say tomorrow, would the laser kill all of the "un-active" follicles too, or will I just be going back and forth until all the hair starts growing? Thanks.

I believe laser only kills actively growing hair follicles, both those visible above the skin, and to some extent those still just barely below. It's the (dark) hair itself that absorbs the light energy.

I would imagine that at age 18 you have already seen all the effects of puberty.  What you have now is likely all that you will have.

As Kate mentioned laser only kills actively growing hair follicles.  As you probably already know your facial hair grows in phases.  While one phase is growing actively the other phases remain dormant.  Laser requires multiple treatments and those treatments are scheduled to coincide with each new growth phase of the hair.

If you are positive that transition is the choice for you then I think the faster you get started with hair removal the easier it will be on you later down the road.  Assuming you have gone through all the right channels there's no reason not to begin laser and HRT at the same time.
