Craniotomy with surgical resection of Glioblastoma

I don't blame you kitty I've refrained from commenting on your story thus far because as a biological scientist I already know about all sorts of different cancers and I am familiar with your cancer and am familiar with your prognosis and how long you've likely got I couldn't say anything because it seems too awful and I couldn't say anything comforting. Only cringe with sadness at how F-ing unjust this world is and why it had to be you.

I completely respect your decision kitty on one condition.
Have a wonderful life... please... Enjoy every second and make me and the whole the world envy how wonderful your life is.

The surgery is NOT paramount.
Finding a spot in life where you feel comfortable IS.

If your not comfortable in your head, they way you interact with others etc, then the surgery wont do it either.

Thats one problem with the TS group I was with 20 years ago. Its not a race, surgery does not elevate you to some pillar for all to worship.
Just relax, take a deep breath and have a seious think of who you see your self as.
See a woman but dont want surgery? Fine.
Its what you see your self as thats important.

The hardest part is sorting the mental luggage, no one, I dont care who they are can help there. Its really up to you.

Again, relax. Take a hot bath and sleep on it!
You'll work it out.

What ever are you talking about? You have it all wrong, the surgery i am referring to is brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor growing in my brian as is possible, Its a dangerous surgery....

This is ultimately a decision only you can make Kitty and I just wanted you to know that much like the others, I support you and your decision 100 percent.

As long as you're planning to live life to the fullest, youve made the right choice :-) consider yourself lucky with the newfound freedom you have! I'm jealous!!

Dear Superkitty,
As you know I work in the area, not with brain tumours, but treating leukaemia and lymphoma. I think we all need to make our own decisions based on informed information.  If that is what you are doing well I cannot see any reason to go ahead with radical treatment that has a relatively poor outcome. One suggestion I would make is to ask your Drs if there are any clinical trials going on. These would be novel front line treatments that have been seen to be useful in a lab setting but not validated. They can be remarkably effective and may not involve surgery or hair loss if that is what you fear.

Do get your personal affairs in order, sorry to be macabre, do make sure your post life wishes are known. It is important that you control this part of your life.

I understand the horror and frustration you are going through and my heart goes out to you. Please keep posting we are here for honey.

Love
Cindy

Don't feel like an idiot. I thought she was talking about SRS, as well. Had no idea she had a brain tumor! Sorry, Kitty!
