When I was younger I was a big soccer player - still am, I just don't play on a team. But, now that I've figured out more of my gender identity (which is still iffy) and my desire to join a soccer team has grown, I don't know what to do. In most high schools (like my own) there aren't co-ed teams anymore. Sure, there's unified teams, but there isn't a unified soccer team - only tennis and track.

I'm moving soon, and would like to do soccer in the fall of next year (and possibly the spring) but I don't know how to go about joining. I'd like to join a boys' team, but I know that'll never happen, and I don't want to join the girls' team. Should I just try to start a co-ed team or what? Has anyone else joined sports during/after their transition (high school or otherwise)?

and there is hope with every move you make
and every single mistake you think you've made.
