I have a question and I wonder if anyone else experiences this. (By the way, I'm new here, so if this is the wrong place to post this sort of thing, please direct me to the correct spot.)
When I do my testosterone shot, I jab my upper thigh, alternating left and right every time. I try to hit about the same spot each time. However, I hate doing it in my right leg because the testosterone feels like it seeps toward my knee and makes the joint ache, sometimes for a few days afterwards. I don't see blood when I pull back on the plunger of the syringe, so I'm not hitting a blood vessel or anything. Likewise this doesn't happen every time I jab my right leg. I really can't jab anywhere else; I'm rather puny muscle-wise and I'm not about to go into my buttock muscles willingly, especially since I do my own jabs and don't have anyone else who can do them for me. I have been meaning to talk with my doctor about this for a while, but I never get around to it.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
