Oh, I don't mind, I was just curious :) (and self-involved - after all this thread's not about me ::)).

My brother has said some strange things in my lifetime: "there is no why," and "patience is a waste of time." Maybe he's onto something after all, halfway.

Lacey, your multicolor posts make my day :)

I ask why a lot too.  Life just doesn't make any sense.  That's the conclusion I've come too after spending most of my life trying to make sense out of it.  The other day I ran over a piece of metal and ended up with a flat tire.  There was a ton of traffic going both ways, but I was the one who hit it.  I asked why quite a bit that day.

And I hate that saying, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.  Because sometimes it doesn't.  I like the stranger version much much better, and it's definitely more applicable to my life.

This one of life's great imponderables. why does the person who gets a flat tire have a flat spare tire as well? Why do you get a flat when you have been on HRT and not realised your upper body strength has gone and you cannot jack the car up  Happened to me had to ask a neighbour to help me. He thought I was such a wimp  as I was in boy clothes

I know!  I hated having to get someone else to change the tire.  I just don't have the upper body strength yet.  Even then, it took three guys to get it done because the lug nuts were on there so tight (so then I didn't feel quite as bad  )  And yes...the spare was flat.  One of them took it to be aired up and once it was put on the car, I went a few feet and the spare came off the rim.   ::)

I wouldn't go back for the world but if you wanted to change the thread to unseen problems I would add this as one  Neighbour; pick the tire out of the car and bring it here. Cindy, I can't undo the bolts that keep the spare in the car. Neighbour, doesn't say anything, just looks, 'What a poofter'  Me Oh well.

Thank you, holding next door neighbour's baby talking to his wife, who I think had caught on.

This was last year, neighbour I think now understands.
