Hi,
I have been on HRT for about five months and I barely notice the guys downstairs. He is sooo quiet. I can still get an erection but it takes more work than before. This caused some problems in bed with my wife who, while she is supporting my transition, she isn't overly thrilled about the changes.
I found that Viagra helps the problem tremendously for me. It lets me achieve the firmness I had when I was 18 and continue the intimacy that she craves as she looses her husband to transition. I'm very healthy so there are no medical issues for the Dr. but you should check before starting it. Also, the pills are expensive so you want to make sure the mood is right. One time I took one, thought we were going to be intimate, pissed her off by mistake, and sat there thinking to myself, now what? LOL. Viagra will not cause you to get an erection but will help you get one when stimulated. I haven't tried the others on the market. I'm have a Dr. appt in a month so we'll see.
I enjoy still being able to be intimate with her while at the same time I've resigned myself to a plan of full transition. As a bonus, from what I have heard, keeping things "active" prevents atrophy so the SRS surgeon has enough material to work with.
