Found out that I'm definitely starting T a bit after I graduate. Which is awesome.

And then there was tux shopping. For prom. Which was fantastic. The lady there called me by male pronouns the whole time, even before I told her my male name. Which I've realized has happened more often to me lately.

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm actually psyched to go to my senior prom. I had a date to go freshman year, which was a complete disaster, and I had vowed I would never go to prom again. Half the reason was because I had a crummy date, but the real dealbreaker for the night was the dress. That goddamn dress...I had made sure to get the most modest dress I could find, which was hard already because my giant boobs made it difficult to find a dress in my size I could fit in, and I wore flats since my date was short, but it didn't help. My chest was for show the whole night, and it was just an awful, no, horrible experience.

But now I couldn't be more excited. It's like I get a second chance at being me. There's no pressure to be feminine when you have no date and you're wearing a tux (which I look hot in if I do say so myself). I don't have to hide. I can socialize, I can laugh, I can dance...and it won't be fake this time around.

I guess this post doesn't have much of a point...but it was a ray of sunshine in the dreary months I've been having.
