I've decided to take HGH. I'm 5'4, and I want to increase my height. I decided that the risks are worth it. I don't know when I'll be starting it but I know I will be for sure.

Just curious, how much taller will it make me? Also how much do injections cost in Canada?

I'm pretty sure that if you're past puberty, it won't do anything for your height. And unless there's a medical necessity for it, my guess is that it would be pretty expensive.

For what it's worth, I'm 5'4" too, and see guys my height pretty often.


Edit - I just found one source online that pegged the cost as being about 250 a month. So there's that.

sigh, i am overreacting, aren't i? it's just one of the other things that was on my mind i read somewhere was that short guys have a smaller chance of finding a girlfriend because most girls supposedly prefer taller men. ridiculous isnt it? not the only reason why i'm self conscious though...

There are women who prefer taller men, but there's also ones who prefer shorter. One of my best friends likes short men better since she's really short herself. I don't think height is going to affect your dating life enough to matter.

That's complete bull ->-bleeped-<-. Your chance isn't smaller. Yeah they may say they want a taller guy, but the average height for a girl is 5'4. So your height probably wont be the first thing she notices about you. Especially if you wear shoes that make you taller. The girl who's my friend with benefits is 5- 6 inches taller than me.

Height is one thing that might make you striking looking, but there's loads of other things and height is irrelevent in the long term: being easy going, confident, loving, caring, having a laugh, taking care of appearance these are the things that matter.

Why spend so much money on something that won't work? There's no magical formular for growing taller. Plenty of girls don't like very tall guys - my girlfriend and I are the same height (at 5'6"), which she says she prefers because tall men intimidate her. You're taller than a lot of girls are, so it's not like the majority of the female population outstrips you in height. Worrying about it, and making it an insecurity, is what will hurt your chances with picking up girls.

If you are past puberty HGH will do nothing to increase your height, it will have a fairly profound effect on your liver, it will increase muscle mass, and it will kill you (eventually). That's why drug cheats use it in sport.

Be happy, easiest way to a girls heart, be happy, smile, laugh and be polite, date you in a second.

Like everyone else said if you are past puberty it won't help you grow. Also I'm sure its really expensive.

Height doesn't matter. I am 5'2"-5'3" ish. I just took out a girl who is I think about 5'5" and she wore 3 inch heels. It didn't matter. She didn't care, I didn't care, no one cared. Girls will only care if you are obviously really self conscious about it.

^^That is by far the best thing I've ever seen! Made me feel so good, even though I'm only 5'1". I know it's hard but this is something that you might not be able to change (unless you want the seriously risky and ridiculous leg lengthening surgery...) I've met bio guys the same height as me, I've also met taller guys insecure about being too tall. Nobody is 100% comfortable with themselves and unfortunately height is something we all got to learn to cope with. Seriously though, once again that was an awesome link. Anytime I feel down I know what I'm looking up.
