so, I don't really expect any replies but I just really have to share my excitement with somebody and some of my family is still a bit uncomfortable with my transition.
I got my first T shot today! Actually, it was about an hour and a half ago.  My mom did it for me because I have a small fear of needles and it will probably take me some time to learn to do it by myself lol.  The actual injection didn't hurt, but the waiting was horrible.  My mom just sat there with the needle poised over my leg, saying "I can't hurt you".  That made me laugh.   :) Anyways, that's my good news and now I can't wait for two more weeks to pass haha

Your mom did for you what mine did for me, she always gave me my shots. You got yourself a good mom if she will do this for you. Mine was really scared to give me my injections at first, I told not to worry about it, that it'll be easy for her after she's done it a few times, which it was, but always prior she would constantly ask me if there were any air bubbles in there. No mom. Are you sure? And I'd have to reassure her that it'd take a heck of a big bubble to cause any kind of a problem anyway. Well I just want to make sure you aren't going to drop dead on me. I prepared everything, gave her the syringe, wiped my butt cheek with rubbing alcohol, she asked me if I was ready, I'd tell her go ahead, tell me when its done. Sometimes we'd joke around, she'd be like back up a little, you're too far away, beep, beep, beep, warning wide load backing up. ;D
