More Maryland Mickey D's Bathroom Transphobia

Here we go again.    Another Maryland transwoman who is getting transphobia served with her Big Mac.

A security guard is caught on tape at a McDonalds in Langley Park, MD denying use of the facilities to a transwoman.   This incident according to Denise LeClair of IFGE happened in January.

Maryland allows gender flag changes to drivers licenses. It would have been nice, if this woman identifies as a female, that she would have had the marker changed. This situation could have been a non-issue. Then again, they may not have let her use the womens room, anyway. But that would have been a lot more ammunition to use.

It seems to me that Maryland is just one F*** up place to be anything other than a Gangsta and I do know what it is like as I worked for First National in Baltimore and spent my time there quite nervously and that was in the Eighties.. It was dont go here dont go there very dangerous... The KFC had bullet proof glass across the counter to protect the employees....

That because only poor people and idiots eat that crap.  You don't need security staff at nice places.  Yogurt and salad bars don't need security.  It's because crap food places (fast food is really a misnomer, the staff is so freaking stupid that it takes them five minutes to ring people up on the Fischer-Price cash register, and it doesn't even have numbers on it, it's got pictures, work it from there) are filled with people with no self-respect, because if you like yourself, you don't put that poison in your body. 

When I see all those lard-assed, fat people - who's thighs are rubbing together so hard that if they wore corduroy pants they'd burst into flames - I think, McDonald's.  BTW, and I'm sure its true in England too (the second fattest nation on earth after the US) that poor people's diets are heavy on the fat, heavy on the starch.  Why do you think they say "You can never be too thin, or too rich"  Oddly (or not) those things go together.

You are right there are a lot of Pie eaters in the UK. But we still dont need security staff in them..... Yet, although I guess its coming.

I used to live in Hong Kong and when I arrived there were two mickey D's there so not a lot of fat Chinese around.. Twenty years later there was an explosion in the amount of restaurants there and also the amount of really fat Chinese children. There is now an Obesity problem over there now.

Most of the United States is not like that. I know there are areas, especially in the inner city ghetto areas, that are like that but it is far from the norm. The Baltimore/Washington DC area is probably one of the scummiest areas in the country and it doesn't really surprise me that this happened there. I'm sure that kind of stuff happens almost every day there but it doesn't get everyone all stirred up.

I think it is BS that ANYONE would be treated this way, trans or not. If this girl were not trans, it would not have even made the news unless it had been a black girl being beat by whites. It's a real shame that there are such sadistic people in the world. It's just sad.

I've seen security at a number of places late at night where people are apt to gather after the bars close.  Admittedly have never seen security in a fast food place during the day.  And there have been any number of occasions where I catch fast food either on the road after meeting with a client (hey, not every town has a good steak or seafood house) or even when I am in the office.  And fast food runs the gamut from Mickey D's to some other options (I was partial to Freebirds before they closed the one near the house). 

Not every meal can be a filet with a bottle of a good cab or even a Bordeaux with lobster on the side...
