The head of a pro-family group in Maine is expressing outrage over his former high school's affirmation of ->-bleeped-<-.

Cony High School in Augusta adjourned at 8:30 in the morning recently for a "Diversity Day," which included a workshop for freshman students called "Transgendering." Mike Heath, executive director of the Christian Civic League of Maine, says the workshop hosted by his alma mater included a presentation by a former student who is now undergoing male hormone treatments and says she is a boy.

"<SHOCK!SHOCK!> OhMyGawd!!"

Is it me, or has there been a recent uptick in transphobia in the news lately?

I am using different sources now, including many that quote those who oppose our existence.  They have always been there, I am just trying to keep everyone alert to their existence and their tactics.

Quotein promoting homosexuality...

I can't quite wrap my head around how these people think. Do they truly believe that telling someone about homosexuality can MAKE them homosexual?

Do they believe that EVERYONE is attracted to the opposite sex, but that homosexuals choose to have same-sex romantic partners - whom they're NOT attracted to, since homosexuality doesn't exist - just to be sinful?

Or do they think that people can CHOOSE to be turned on by... well, whatever they want - same sex people, birch trees, whatever?

It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't understand them, so it's difficult to know how to deal with them.

Yes, in their own little 14th Century world, this is true.  The reason that this continues is because of children and grade schools.  Sounds a bit far fetched do you say?  Well it is a well documented fact that children appear to have a belief in something that is relatively intangible but has the ability to impact one negatively anyway.  this super-virus of the mind has quite a cute little name and that is so you, as an adult, would not suspect anything.  that is right, it is because of the dreaded cooties that these beliefs continue to exist.

Sorry, I am having a hard time taking the cavemen seriously and yet they post a great risk to the population at large.
