Does any one have experience with these? Do they work? Are there types you would/would not recommend? My butt is unfortunately prominent, so I've considered getting some of these, but I don't have a lot of money to spend on things that don't work.

The compression shorts that Underworks sells DO NOT work and are not worth the money. Other brands of compression shorts, I'm not sure about. Would also like to hear if anyone has tried any other kind of compression shorts that actually work.

I have some franklin compression shorts that work great. they are made for guys playing sports so there is a pocket in the front designed for an athletic cup but that's perfect for packing too. i cant remember how much they were but it was under 20

I've been wondering about compression shorts as well and I'm so glad I didn't buy the Underworks one now.

Where can you buy these "Franklin" compression shorts in stores? Do you wear your recommended waist size, or a smaller size?

I believe I got them from either Walmart or Fred Meyer but you can find them in sports stores as well. There is a size guide on the box (something like waiste size 28-33= size small, etc) and I followed that and it worked out well.

I have some by Riddell (also from Walmart) and another brand from Sports Authority.
They help with thighs, too.

Thanks, guys! I guess I'll have to go to the store and see what I can find.

I guess I'm doing some shopping at Walmart for compression shorts soon then.  :)
