Anyone heard of this cream? Saw it for the first time today on FYFTM:

Looks like it's made by Bayer and produced in Mexico. Seems to be used mostly by vets to reduce fat on animals but seems to also be used by humans for weight loss by applying directly to the area. The guy above seems to have had success with it for making his chest smaller. Odd that no version of this exists in the US, which makes me somewhat wary...

I've never heard of it. He suggests to apply it at night, bind your chest then shower in the morning. Binding while sleeping with bandages doesn't seem safe so I question the level of safety and effectiveness.

Just did a quick google search to read up on it.  Not much out there about it.  One place out of texas that sold it, the rest was people talking about it that were from Mexico. 

The person in the video said it is safe, but my concerns are if Bayer made it why is it not sold in the US? There is nothing that I saw in a quick search saying it was USDA approved (in English).  It may work short term, but how would it react to your body down the road?  Take a look at DHEA and how many took it for the male hormone properties.  A few years later it was discovered to lead to health problems nobody saw when it was released by USDA.  Another example is the military members who are being given Anthrax shots. Some have no ill effects, others are breaking out in rashes that nobody can find the cure for.  Anthrax shots were for animals and now service members in certain parts of the world are required to get them or risk being discharged for not following a direct order.  It is not in the news anymore, but it is still a huge concern for many.

There are many products that are not harmful and not approved by the USDA or sold in this country, so this could be one of them.  I just ask you weight the good with the bad and make sure it really is worth the risk be they known or unknown.  I would hate to see anything negative happen to anybody here (or elsewhere), especially if it was a desire not a life threatening need.

Good points, Jigsaw... I'm gonna talk to my doctor about it and see if he's heard of it.

Please share anything you find out.  I would have to give it some serious thought before trying it, but I would honestly consider it if I felt better about it and it did not interfere with T.  Would be nice to have an extra boost of help with that area before surgery.  Because of the items I gave as examples I really worry about things that are not tried and true.  Mainly because I know friends who have had issues from DHEA and anthrax.  I am very thankful I left the middle east before they noticed I did not have the series of shots because I would have refused them.

I wonder if he is on T yet or not.  T will atrophy breast tissue some.  I'm just starting to see it happening a little for me and I'm 6 months in.  Binding at night is definitely not a good idea as your breathing slows when you are sleeping and binding inhibits lung capacity.

i don't think it matters whether you're actually binding or not since it's a topical cream anyways. i guess what he's trying to say is you should cover it up so  it doesn't smear

okay so i read up on the ingredients. all of them have been used topically in balms, creams, as desinfectants, exfoliants, as flavor for "wintergreen" chewing gum. all of them seem safe as long as not overdosed. One of them is not to be used when pregnant. Overdosing can lead to SERIOUS health problems however!! So in order to actually use something on your skin that's meant for ANIMALS, you'd have to calculate the dosage carefully. I have no idea how much of each active ingredient is actually in a jar of bamitol, so I can't tell how much of it is safe to apply.

i too have never heard of that. now I want to look for something like this in stores, i don't want to send for things made in Mexico, especially since it's meant to be used by animals, and you can't tell how much of each active ingredient is in each jar. i don't really like how he says "i think it's put on cows...uh...i don't know anyway -" it's like wow dude you don't even read up on stuff before you put it on your body. of course i would love to make my chest smaller but unless a doctor gives it to me or i can get it on store shelves I'm most likely not going to buy or use it. especially not going to try sleeping with a binder on, he did say "you put it on, you bind, then you sleep then in the morning you shower." so i don't think he meant any kind of bandage. unless that roll of gauze is all he uses to bind his chest with.

Breast tissue isn't only fat, the main reason why T doesn't more dramatically reduce chest size. Even if this drug was extremely effective at reducing fat and was entirely safe, it wouldn't be that dramatic, as breast tissue is largely made up of ductal and connective tissue. It seems like there's a lack of reliable human research available to contradict this prediction, so I wouldn't take the risk with my own body, anyway.

If anybody knows where this is sold online I'd appreciate it...I can't find it on ebay or amazon

I'm in the medical industry, if it isn't approved for humans keep away from it. I know it is tempting, but what drugs are approved in regulated countries for human and animal differ. What are approved by poorly regulated countries are a nightmare. To put it bluntly cancer is not a great way to lose weight.
If it sounds too good to be true. It is.

Thanks for chiming in Cindy, I agree with you. I've been meaning to talk with my doc about this stuff but either way I think I'm gonna stay away. Just not worth the risk. I looked around some online and the only place I could find it is on Mexican websites -- which seems to be pretty telling in itself.

I fell asleep at this guys place once in my binder, it was an accident and I woke up not breathing. Doing that on purpose would be just insane.

I just looked this up and also only see it for sale on Mexican sites, but I also see it being marketed to humans for fat loss, saying that you just sweat it out when you exercise. You should still use caution and research it more, but human and animals aren't 100% always entirely separate in medicine. There's a skin cream out there for dry skin that originally started out as a skin cream for cows with dry skin. My mom and grandmother have used that stuff because severely dry skin runs in the family and they've both had psoriasis.
