It seems that I'm to the point that I just cringe when I have to buy clothes.  It feels like wasting money buying clothes that I don't want to wear especially when I could be buying a cute outfit!  I am slowly trying to feminize myself although I was never too manly before anyways but the whole world expects me to "be a man" and I have to play that role while the world is watching.

I am working on permanently lowering my testosterone level and maybe even taking low dose E but I can't take it TOO far. I know it's playing with fire and it could just push "Stacy" over the edge.  I have always wished I'd been a girl and have always x-dressed to a degree but lately I've gone all out and now I'd like to go out to some trans friendly places en femme.

I have the same reaction to having to buy / own / take care of female clothing.  Want to trade clothes?

Lmao . . . um, medium?  I had to check the closet because I don't pay much attention to women's clothes, including the ones I own.  I'm 5'4", hourglass type figure, so I wear clothes for short busty people.

I know youv said going out to trans places . i would suggest you find some womens groups & join up with them   womens centers clubs the people who are going to help you are real natal woman ,take my word for that.
Thats what i did  accept them in to your life get to know them & they you.

Talk with them about your self your fellings your life   a bit of trust is needed it does work if you can think past the ...i cant do that..... oh yes you can , as a help . put my name on the net. .

I've always HATED to go buy men's clothes. I consider it a waste of time. Men's clothes are so DRAB. But i present as a male to the world, so i gotta have them.

Now, girls clothes - that's another matter entirely. And shoes?  I now totally understand women's obsession about them.

There is always the option of a kilt, not cheap, but they come in all sorts these days, even leather for tradies or goths.

You don't have to buy the drab stuff! You can be daring and fabulous, or dashing and debonair. It may make you look kind of gay, but...

Unfortunately, I live in a part of Texas that is very redneck and the industry I work in is not very tolerant of less than "manly men". I probably get enough people wonding about me as it is because I don't have very masculine features and my voice was never that deep which I caught hell for when I was an infantry soldier. Now I consider myself lucky that I don't have an adam's apple to speak of and my brow ridge is barely there. I even have girlie eyes, thin nose and a rather week chin for a guy. I guess my mom was wishing a bit TOO hard for a baby girl while she was pregnant with me...

I am in need of a few items of men's clothes. So, I go on line and start working on a shopping bag and I just can't get out of the women's section. All I needed was a couple of men's pants so I got those quick enough and the next thing you know is I have a pair of women's pants, a v neck women's sweater and a pair of girls tennis shoes with pink trim. I saved the shopping bag and got off the computer with nothing. Buying only men's clothes, priceless impossible.

I have always hated shopping for clothes, but recently, it seems I just cant stop shopping for female attire..
Tonight I spent 3 hours looking for some stilletto boots...
But part of that is sizing issue.. I recently bought some size 10, 4 inch pumps, they kill my toes, when walking sometimes the heel slides off, so i gather 10 is the right size,  yet walking in them, or just wearing them hurts my toes to buggery...
I dont want round/square toed shoes, a bit of point is sexy.. Wide ones cost way extra and I'm on a budget...
Any tips or hints would be welcome...
But yes i can now see why women spend so much time clothes shopping, the range of shape, texture, colour and well everything is so much way much more than jeans, tshirt, shirt, hoody and 3 patterns of boring undie!!!

I gave up on even looking at men's clothes a long time ago.  Guys pants to me are almost like wearing burlap bags.  No stretch, very thick and course material.  Just very uncomfortable for me.  I just try to keep the women's clothes a little bit more neutral so as not to attract too much attention.  Though I am not in quite the same type of enviroment that you are in but I am in one similiar.  The biggest complaint I have recieved so far was from my mother and she was just complaining because she is jealous that I wear smaller pants than she does.  I just took it slow and started with changing my jeans from guys to women's as they wore out and people don't really notice as much when things are done slowly.  Only when drastic overnight changes occur do you call extra attention to yourself.

Iskandra, I have a couple of ideas that might help put talcum powder in your heels it will cause the leather to stretch slightly, or rub a bar of soap in the front he bed where your toes are, make sure your toe nails are nicely pedicured reason this can push your nail down against the bed, I hope this helps as I wear heels as it is a real turn on for me.xxxxx love chloe savannah

I might have to try those suggestions, specially the soap at the front toe part, as thats where my feet are getting squished and hurt, as I said, the heel is almost too loose seeing it sometimes slides off.. (but that might just be lackof practice.. 

Yes I love heels, 4 inches is all I've worn so far, in the past and now my very own pumps, but I am toying with going up an inch.. Only after I find the right size, shape and relative comfort though.. I don't think heels will ever be as comfy as my ugg boots! 

Next week I'm planning to go to a large chain store and find myself some nice boots.. I'll be able to try them on in private and if not right at least exchange them.. That should help narrow the sizing down..

Yes I love boots, several pair.

Stacy I buy women's trousers and jeans. There is not a lot of difference (in some of them ) but psychologically it feels nice.
